Title: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Post by: hXd on November 27, 2008, 10:44:13 AM Go eat some turkey and pass out in front of the TV. Those of us who work in retail and have to be into work at 5am (that would be me), godspeed to you and I hope you don't choke someone.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm going to my grandma's in a little bit, my parents and I always go a few hours early to help he get the food ready. And my other grandma started doing Thanksgiving on the Sunday before turkey day, so I've already had one feast this week :P Title: Re: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Post by: Sirgin on November 27, 2008, 11:26:29 AM Turkey Day = Thanksgiving ???
That would explain why I never heard of Turkey Day before. :P I've heard of Thanksgiving many times though. There's a Friends episode about it even. Title: Re: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Post by: bum-man on November 27, 2008, 11:28:49 AM Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
@Sirgin - Yeah I think they did a couple Friends episodes on Thanksgiving. I remember one where they played football. Title: Re: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Post by: TraderJake on November 27, 2008, 12:07:01 PM Happy Thanksgiving all from Cincinnati USA!
Title: Re: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Post by: logical123 on November 27, 2008, 12:10:03 PM WOOOOOOO!
Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday. I love Triptophan!!!! I'm going over to my Grandmas at 1:00PM for Turkey, then at 5 we go to my cousins for dessert! YAY FAMILY!!! Title: Re: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Post by: Funk_Buddy on November 27, 2008, 01:03:36 PM Happy Thanksgiving!
I have the displeasure of driving 2.5 hrs to do yard work, winterize a house and pull boats/seadoos out of the lake for the season. Boo!!! Title: Re: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Post by: NES_Rules on November 27, 2008, 07:13:21 PM Turkey Day = Thanksgiving ??? Yep, since the holiday has become more about eating the turkey than it is about giving thanks for everything we have. WOOOOOOO! Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday. I love Triptophan!!!! I hope you realize its not the Tryptophan that makes you tired. Parmesan cheese has about twice the tryptophan as turkey. You feel sleepy because you eat too much (especially carbohydrates). Yes but besides the carbs most people don't eat 2-3 pounds of Parmesan cheese in one sitting, that's why turkey seems to have so much. :P Title: Re: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Title: Re: Happy Thanksgiving yo. Post by: Izret101 on November 28, 2008, 07:55:48 PM I had lots of potatoes and cheesecake.
Even on years where i haven't eaten much at all though Thanksgiving always ends up being a tired lazy day. |
