Needless to say, the family isn't very happy about it. They have only been seeing each other for about 2 months as well.
I should have some pretty good stories on this by Monday as thier family is having a Christmas get together on Saturday and my girlfriend is absolutly livid. She has already promised that she is, and I'm quoting here, "going to scream at her until either you (meaning me) pull me into the car or I'm pounding her head into a wall. Good times.... He's the manager of a Speedway gas station. He also has two kids that are only a few years younger than her mother. I think I'm gonna get plastered on the way to that Christmas thing so I overreact to everything that happens.

My girlfriend and I went over to her grandfathers house yesterday for that side of the family's Christmas get together. When we got there, we said hi to everyone and my girlfriend started talking to her grandfather and told him that her sister was bringing along her 52 year old fiancee. He sort of mumbled "Oh, great", and went on to the next subject. About 10 minutes later he got up and went into the kitchen and asked me to come with him. we got into the kitchen and he said "So, Neal is coming today, right?". I said yes he was and he grabbed a 6-pack of MGD he had and said "Put this in your car. I will not give that guy anything." So I went out to my car, and sat out there for a good 5 minutes laughing my ass off.
