Title: My game room pics (56k warning)
Post by: Sauza12 on December 16, 2004, 08:08:23 AM
Alright, here we are!  I'll start off with a coulpe of general shots and then go into more detailed pics.

First pic is just an overview of my tiny ass room

this is the south wall of my game room

This is just left of the last pic
(http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-12/912309/MVC-859F.JPG)

this shot is pretty worthless as it is just a closer shot of an N64 box and my PS1 with the screen
(http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-12/912309/MVC-861F.JPG)

This is my TV (I was watching Shorties Watching Shorties) with my Dreamcast games, my XBox, and O2
(http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-12/912309/MVC-862F.JPG)

To the left of the TV is a remarkably bad shot of my systems rack.

My desk from when I was a kid crammed with video game goodness.  The shelves have some of my Genesis games, my handheld systems, and some random stuff that looks OK there.

This is the inside of the black game holder on the desk.  It has my unboxed N64 games

The next two pics are my Atari 2600 drawers on the desk

This is my rack with an assortment of games.  I have all my NES, SMS, Jaguar, Sega CD, O2, Atari 7800, Saturn games as well as all of my boxed N64 games and some of my XBox, PS2, and Gamecube games.  I'm sure I have more up there, but I can't remember everything on there.

Over here I have my Playstation, SNES and 32x games.  Time to buy a bigger rack over here.

and the last shot is of the rest of my Genesis games, my Intellivision games, system boxes, and random loose games.

Thanks!  :D

It is in the basement, and that is a fireplace, but it's not a woodburning one, it's a gas one.  Also it doesn't work.  I have to get a plummer over to look at the piping.

Very nice room.

Do you have alot of problems with moisture?

Thanks everybody!  |D

@Holly - I am just missing three games for the 32x and it will be complete;  Spiderman, World Series Baseball, and Pitfall

@Izret - I keep a dehumidifier down there, so it really hasn't been a problem so far.  I'm thinking about buying a better one though, as the one I'm using is pretty old.

Definately want to invest in a good dehumidifier.
I am ground level and i have a problem with moisture. Paper infuses with the tiles in my closet for example. Once i get wall to wall it should be better though. I will still use my dehumidifier though.
Anyways i assume your missing Web of Fire?

Damn I counted all the 32X games and then read how many you have. Good luck on getting the last three games. Pitfall was the last game I need to get. A CIB Spider Man just went for $103 on Ebay a few days ago.

Also nice Virtua Fighter Training Pak! How hard are those to get?

Nice set of pictures. i love looking at pictures of people game room.

I'm wondering though, how do you play xbox games? Won't the controller cable hang in front of the screen?

Moves it to the floor? Wireless controller?

Or you can just push the cord to the side of the TV. Or just leave it in front. I have done both it isn't rocket science.

Oooh, the fifth or sixth try of attempting to get the pics to show up, and it works!

Also, your game room makes me jealous.

Tynstar-The Training Pack wasn't too hard to come by.  I won it for about $20 the first time I saw it on Ebay.  I've seen it a couple of times since then.  Also, I was going to bid on that last Spiderman that ended but it jumped to $103 with 10 minutes left, so I just decided to hold off.

Arrr-when I'm playing it I just tuck the cord under the Xbox and run it down the side of the TV.  It's probably not the best for the cord, but it works for now.  I originally had it where the O2 is now, but the ethernet cable wouldn't reach my modem so I had to put it on top of the TV.

The pics aren't showing up right now because I've already reached my daily bandwidth allowance.  In the meantime, here is a link to the site:
