Title: Abadox on NES
Post by: Izret101 on December 16, 2004, 12:39:45 PM
I have been playing this game for NES for the last 2 days. It is kind of like R-Type.
It is pretty simple for the first 3 levels but it is one of those games if you die along the way you might as well restart.

<easy win game info>
The first boss is easy because if you pick up the 3 options along the way there is a spot you can hover in and you will almost never get shot at and the few times you do the options block it.
The second boss is a little trickier if you want to keep your shields you are actually going to have to manuver to dodge some shots, it is also extremely beneficial to get the missles along the way.
The 3rd boss circles around the screen if you can catch him at the begining of his circle and shoot him with the missles and laser (you pick up in the level) you can kill him in 2 or 3 passes.
</easy win game info>
I always die on the 4th level. You have to memorize where some of the little gun things are in the level so you can blow them up as they come on screen otherwise there are to many bullets for you to dodge.

So anyways i wanted to know if anyone has ever played it and more specifically if they know how many levels there are?

I played this way back in the day, but I don't remember too much about it.  I want to say that there were 7 stages, but I could be mistaken.

Cool.
It is a really fun game. It is definately worth giving it a try to all those who haven't played it yet.

I've got it, haven't played it in a long time though. Isn't that the game where everything looks like flesh? all guts and eyeballs and such?
