So this is kind of Halo related , but also probably goes for any game played online. Recently I found out that Halo 2 players playing online could put thier router or modem into "stand by" and cause everybody around them to freeze or lag while they were free to rome freely and kill everybody or get that extra second they need to win. I am appualed by this act of cheating and am outraged with the fact that people need to cheat to win.

Do you cheat ? What are your feelings about it ? Would you cheat if you could get away with it ?

I tell you right now that I dont cheat and would not cheat if I had that stand by option on my set up.  >:(

I have the button but would not do it.
It takes no skill to push a button and freeze the game and win.
Sticky and Ninja Monkey(or something like that) are both cheaters.
They played a matchmaking game with me and sticky hit the button.

It sucks to have people you are playing against and when someone on your team cheats it shows how little skill they have.

It is one thing to use a cheat will playing offline. I hope all cheaters accounts are band. I am also glad sticky if out of are clan.

I dont mind the glitch on Coagulation where you can grab the flag through the floor , but flat out cheat does show lack of skill. Sticky made me mad when we were playing "Dawn of the Dead" Slayer style and he would cheat while he was the zombie.

I would own Sticky in a straight up slayer match if he didnt cheat.  ;)

I got booted from a game i was playing with some other people because he decided to do the cheat while i was running with the other teams flag.
Mulder booted me. That was the first game i played with him to.
Way to get a reputation.

As I always seem to say on these online gaming threads, you should see how bad CS is.

I've played (and still play) Quake III for years now and have run across many different forms of cheating. The aimbots and wallhacks have been taken care of with Punkbuster but... A new form of cheating has appeared.

I think that folks who live together or are on the phone tag teaming people in a free-for-all game are cheaters plain an simple. I know people who do it and I've done it myself in the past.. I wouldn't now because I fully understand how irritating it can be.

Nothing pisses me off more than people that cheat at anything.  I was playing Halo 2 with a couple of my friends about a month ago and someone on the team that we were playing against did some sort of weapon spawn cheat.  One of the guys on my team had the sword, so I turned the corner and there is one of the other team running at me with a sword.  I let that one slide because we were up by something like 20 kills.  It still made me mad as hell.

Thankfully I started playing World Championship Poker on Xbox live last night and as far as I know there is no way of cheating on that game  :)

I also got a clan invite from Sticky after he left our clan ::) I dont "roll" with cheaters.......

He wanted me to join his clan :yuck: I mean how stupid is that ? First off , I am an Overlord of our clan and secondly as stated before I hate cheaters !
