Title: TradeWars 2002 Post by: Odonadon on January 04, 2005, 06:10:47 PM Okay, well, I'm not sure where this belongs, but I've finally started playing TradeWars 2002 for the first time in my life (Yes, I realize it's been out for 20 years). My god what a cool game. I realize it's a BBS Door game, but it's massive. I can't believe it even incorporates allignment (good/bad)!
<plug> Yes, this is a bit of a shameless plug, but I'd promote it even if it's not mine: come join a TradeWars 2002 game @ The Moron Hut BBS http://nyty.ath.cx/bbs I'm new at it, and there are a couple of veterans currently engaged (game has been running since Dec 20-ish). For all you TradeWars fans, come have a game. </plug> I'm still not 100% what the ultimate goal of the game is. I'm at the point where I'm buying/selling making tons of money. After that, I assume I need to put some enhancements into my ship and my planet - maybe colonize another planet or three. Learning as I go :) Any avid Trade War (any iteration) fan out there? I was signed up on this same one but i think after like 30 days of inactivity your account was erased. That might have been on another one. I was on that BBS, ODs BBS and one other for awhile. Either way, it's been well over 30 days since I logged on to one. So, my account is probably gone if I ever had one at all on that BBS.

I don't have IDs set to delete after a certain amount of inactivity. Nep, that means your account is still there. I've PM'd you your ID and password. Izret - your BBS ID is still active as well, however your LORD account has long since been deleted. Doesn't stop you from starting again, however. OD |
