Title: Talk about cheap and easy! (not kid friendly)
Post by: Antimind on October 04, 2012, 12:56:32 AM
@ mods: I am one pissed off gamer wife. Posting these everywhere I can think of is about the only thing that's in my power to do. If you feel the need to delete by all means. If not then thank you very much.

Apparently this girl is really cheap and easy. She sends indecent photos of herself to everyone she can on facebook via xbox live. She offered my husband sex. I'm mad as hell because she sent them to my husband. That said I figure I'll call a whore a whore and what the hell, share the wealth as they say?

Spoiler (hover to show)

Just adding spoiler tags...feel free to look if you like. - Shadow

Do you have a Gamertag that we can look out for/report?

I don't have a Facebook account, but I could likely track down the gamertag and other details for you if needed. Phone # even, if you want.

With that being said, I think this whole ordeal has a more interesting nature behind it. The person's handle that she's using (zippy68) is signed up at a lot of Christian websites. I can't help but think that's tied into this, whether it being a hijacked account or a troll account.

or a troll account.

I'm going to assume this.  The internet has made quite a lot of weirdos come out of their shells...

^This is my suspicion. I know it is a common method to troll someone, especially if the victim associates themselves with a faith. Some unsavory person will link their target's online identity to scandalous sites, find a few porno pics around the 'net to tie in, spam lurid messages through the hacked accounts or use simple spam-bots, and let the beast terrorize. I've known this setup to happen to people, and it is apparently easy to do if one is even little tech-savvy and has a grudge/ wants cruel 'lulz.'

Before you ask; nope, never happened too me, thankfully. But I have seen it happen.

...since this doesn't come up as an option often, if you're worried about this sort of thing change the communication defaults on Xbox LIVE or Facebook. At times, I've had to change my communication defaults to Friends Only on Xbox LIVE due to community events, where people spammed me for months on end with messages.

I wish I knew what the gamertag was. I have plenty of friends that would troll this &%*$#. Unfortunately my husband actually likes to play Uno. He didn't set privacy settings up. He's the type that clicks on everything (like he clicks on "free whatever" ads on youtube and stuff). He accepts every damned friend requests he gets. I don't allow him to use my pc because of this. He's gotten viruses before blindly clicking everything.

@ Shadow - I'm really not interested in collecting any of this person's details. I just started posting around what I had because I'm pissed that people would go around sending married people stuff like that.

Honestly, your husband is playing the wrong game to NOT set privacy settings. Uno is the Chatroulette of Xbox LIVE. You will find many an exhibitionist while playing it, due to the nature of the camera settings for the game. It's well known for that type of person, and it may honestly be somewhat assumed that he'd be interested in exhibitionism because he's playing it. At this point, I can only advise that he set up his communication preferences, or start being smarter when it comes to opening messages from random people. Below are the options that should help with this on Xbox LIVE. I'm not familiar with Facebook, nor the Facebook integration options from Xbox LIVE, so you may want to look into those. I would HIGHLY suggest setting Friends Only on Video for Uno, and would recommend it for Voice and Text if harassment becomes an issue.

Quote
Voice and Text   Decide who to communicate with using voice, text, and game invites.
Everyone
Friends Only
Blocked
Video Communication   Decide who to interact with using video on Xbox LIVE. Includes Video Kinect and in-game video chat.
Everyone
Friends Only
Blocked

EDIT: Also, I doubt she's "cheap". Those shoes are probably worth a decent penny.  :P

Probably not legit.

If it was, that'd certainly be most men's dreams, haha.
