What are the 5 games that are currently scheduled for release from now until the end of December that you are the MOST excited about.

I am never excited about new games coming out. I guess it is because I know the are 60 bucks and in 6 months they will be 20.

I didn't say the games that you are going to buy at full price, because only people with expendable income do that.  I'm just asking which games are exciting and appealing to you.  Kind of like a "which of these games will you eventually own".

Well in that case....what games are coming out? LOL

I have 4 on my list so far. In no particular order:

Final Fantasy X-X-2HD
Legend of Zelda a Link Between Worlds
South Park The Stick of Truth
Batman Arkham Origins

I would have included NHL 14 but it's already out.  I just don't have it yet :(

I would go with these five:

1. Watchdogs
2. Batman Arkham Origins
3. Ass Creed IV
4. South Park the Stick of Truth
5. Battlefield 4

I don't expect anything revolutionary out of the these titles but they should be fun to play.

South Park and Asassin's Creed 4 could be fun.

Ass Creed has my interest piqued. I'm sure they'll find a way to make it boring, but the pirate concept is cool.

Can't list 5, but here is what I'm hanging out for this year:

3.) Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Wind Waker HD (how come no one mention this game yet?)
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD
And I can't think of a fifth game.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 Remake (assuming it gets a 2013 release date- LR got pushed back to 2014), although atm I am more excited about a game that may be announced by the end of the year.... (http://p-ch.jp)

Beyond and Wonderful 101 are my two. Definitely can't make it to 5 with what's left for the year.

That's it other games that came out this year I either already have or like in W101 case don't have a Wii U

The upcoming Target-salvage games releasing this year that I'm most looking forward to grabbing when they hit the Goodwill shelves:

- Skylanders Swap Force starter set: Like DUH, right? While I'd prefer getting the Wii U version, I'm willing to settle for PS3 or 360 if they come around first. I'll also be looking out for the 3DS release.

- Sonic Lost World: will aim to get both Wii U and 3DS versions. Might even do a baseball postseason wager with a certain someone over this one.  ;)

- Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds: It's only the sequel to the greatest LoZ of all time, so this one's a no-brainer.


Other than that, nothing else really comes to mind. My interest in South Park has been on the wane recently, or I'd have added it to the list.

That's all I can think of for now, some have come out already.  But I want to get them before the years over.

In all honesty, I love Wind Waker.  I started a fresh playthrough a few months ago and stopped when I found out that an HD remake was coming even though I don't own a U.  I REALLY wish that the system bundle included a physical copy of Wind Waker and The Historia.  The more I think about it, $300 is still way too much for that system for me.  I'd sell my Wii to help fund it but you kind of can't give a Wii away.  Gamestop offers $20 for it and craigslist is flooded with them.

Wind Waker is the only Zelda games since Link to the Past I have played for more then 10-20 minutes. I played it for a few hours.

I've had this conversation with a few people this year.  As much as Zelda is loved by most people who grew up in the Legend of Zelda-Ocarina times, the brand doesn't have the same presence around it as it once did.

The hardcore Zelda fans will always go gaga for them but they really don't have the prestige anymore.  It's too bad because the games are really good for the most part.

I played Legend of Zelda-Ocarina for 10-20 minutes I never made it out of the starting area. I hate the N64 controller so I never played it. I think I beat Mario 64 but that was the only game I really played on it.

Keep an eye out, with the slow sales, you can get some retailers doing clearance sales. The most recent was Dick Smith over here in Australia, everything Nintendo was 50% off.

Gamestop says 6-30-14.

Yeah, I just saw that.  It wasn't on my list but I remember Ubi saying that it was the most pre-ordered next gen title so I would imagine lots of people are disappointed.

Looks like that PS4 I pre-ordered will be collecting dust until 2014. Which I don't mind at all because with all the current gen games drastically dropping in price my backlog is getting huge. Plus, I have a ton of retro games to finish.

I was just thinking the same thing. At least I will still be able to play DriveClub :P
