I should be in. As long as the league doesnt get bigger than 10 teams. I was in the 18 team league over at DP last year and it really sucks when there is no talent left to pick up :o

check over the settings. I went with mostly defaults and can make modifications. I set the league max at 14 teams. we most likely won't have that many. I'd like at least 10.

Did anybody play with the preset draft rankings ? I did...

that's a good thing to do especially right before the draft. you can eliminate guys holding out, injured in preseason or serving lengthy drug/steriod suspensions. Yahoo is not always quick about catching such things.

Yep , I did a reconfig on the top 100 picks. :P I will probably go through and recheck everything the day before the draft.


By the way , when is the draft ?

not for a while yet. I don't like drafting too soon. it sucks to draft early then watch 2 or 3 of your picks get wiped out in the preseason.

I hated the DP one last year. 18 teams was not fun.

If some one really wants in bad and you don't want more then 10 teams in the league they can have my spot.

I've got the max number of teams set at 14. that number still allows for some pretty talent stacked teams.

well as it's an auto draft it looks like it can happen anytime after I set our league draft status to "ready". I'll see if I can get a specific date and time.

I went ahead and adjusted my draft list.  I am about a week behind in getting my research done and I have three drafts coming up in the next two weeks (not counting this one).  Time to get off my ass and search the re.

I don't know where that search the re thing came from.  Get off my back, I'm sick in August this shit tends to happen.

I joined but I was the 11th team so I quit out, if you can find another guy, ill be in or if someone wants out ill take his spot, but for now i wont go in so there are uneven teams

my team is so-so. I've got a Moss-less Daunte Culpepper at QB. It'll take some shrewd management skills to make some noise this year.

I have 4 solid RB's.  If you wanted to part with either Harrison or Owens, I could part with Ahman Green, Warrick Dunn, or Jerome Bettis.

You also have last years number 1 WR and 2 other very good back ups... ;)


I am really only considering  I. Bruce and  E. Moulds  for trade at the moment as far as my WR position goes.

Leftwich , E. Manning and Grossman are up for trade as well at the QB position.

If I have to trade the steelers defense as a package deal to get a good RB then I may consider that.


This is for anybody who is loaded at the RB position and wants to trade for anything on my trading block  ;)

I have been tweeking my roster a bit  :P I had 4 quarterbacks and I cut 2 (1 injured himself)
Added 2 much needed running backs. Damn M. Faulk probably will be second string this year , which means I dont have a solid fantasy RB at the moment. But I think I might have picked up a hidden gem today >:-)

I guess well find out soon enough  :)

I did one transaction. I'm sure I'll do many more as the season gets going. I'm ready.

my team looks okay. it's all about managing your lineup though. I won't win in a rout like last year but I plan on being competitive.

I like Izret's team.  He has a pretty good all around squad.  I like my team better though.   ;)

I hope no one was planning on starting Peter Warrick though.  :laugh:

Sticky note option is on your player page I believe. You can use upto 200 characters. It does come in handy. I did alot of my pre season scouting by using this tool  :)

Well I am glad my team has improved from the first week.  Looks like some of the changes I made have helped.  A few of my players also had really great games, which is also nice.

P.S.  Whoever (EDIT: Anthony) has the Cincinnati defense should be thrilled.  They have been unbelievable.

It's still early in the season. But a few of the teams in our league are putting up consistant high numbers  :'(

Yeah, I have enough points to be third place in the league if that was what decided the order....  but it's not, and sadly I have two losses because I forgot to change my lineup the week before.

If i wasn't such a jerk i wouln't have blown my massive points lead and i would have remembered to change my line ups.

So long as i stop forgetting i should be able to hold first if the first 6 weeks of the season where any indication to how the rest could go.

Nov 5 The Eagles announced Saturday that they have suspended wide receiver Terrell Owens indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. Owens ripped the team for not making a bigger deal of his 100th career touchdown reception and took shots at his quarterback Donovan McNabb in an interview with ESPN this past week. The Eagles brass forced Owens read an apology to the team and players in front of the media on Friday.


Views: There is no word yet on how long Owens will be suspended, but fantasy owners should immediately make alternate plans for Sunday night's game against the Redskins. His absence will obviously have a negative impact, ironically enough, on McNabb, who is also nursing rib, sternum, shin, and hernia injuries but is planning to play. We could learn more about the extent of the suspension in the next 24 hours, however, fantasy owners should brace themselves for the possibility that the Eagles will give him the same treatment that the Buccaneers gave Keyshawn Johnson last year.

I'd just like to say, "Ha ha," to the Whizzinators, whoever that is.  I forgot to change my roster until Sunday because I was out of town over the weekend and ended up without a QB and with only one WR.  I was projected to lose by about fifteen points and ended up winning by one.  r0x0r

Just for a little bragging, in two of my other leagues, I am on pace to shatter the all time scoring record for a season.

In one league I am averaging about 125 points a game, and the other one which has scoring very similar to ours, I am averaging around 90 a game.

Should be interesting.

Better hope Manning only throws to them.  If Scott is leading you right now, I'd suspect he'll win unless you have other guys too.  The best you can do is negate some of the points Manning scores.  If he throws TD's to anyone else, Scott has the advantage.  Of course if you are leading him right now, things will be more interesting than that.

A funny thing about my team is that I have the second lowest point total for the season.

If i didn't screw up 2 weeks i could probably be over 200 points ahead of second place in points.

In anycase i did WAY better than i thought i would.
