I would recommend keeping it in the 1st post and try to keep this thread as clean as possible. I only have a few systems here at the moment, as the rest is in transit.(should be here within a few weeks to a month)

i'm gunning for that Demon Attack high score Tynstar  i've managed 7465 today before i choked out but i've gotten much higher than that before  8)

I still haven't gotten my 2600 up and running.
I don't even know if it works and i am missing the RF box i think that is it though for missing parts.

As soon as I find the power supply for my 2600 I'm gonna have that Demon Attack score...I used to OWN at that game on my PCjr...back in the day...I remember breaking 10,000 without a problem, so it's just a matter of getting back in the swing of things...

Damn...found the power supply...now to get the damn thing working.  Anyone have any idea what might be wrong with it?

What else have you tried? What is the screen doing? Give a few more specifics of what's going on, because it can be any number of things.

Well, it's like there's no power getting to it.  When I flip the power switch it doesn't do anything.  Might need a new power cable, but I might have a spare laying around somewhere to try.  I opened it up to check if the RF cord was loose, and it wasn't, and there's no sign of corrosion anywhere on the board, so it just leaves the AC adaptor.  The screen stays snowy, there's no signal going through, so it has to be either the power or the video cable.  Pretty much ruled out the video because it's still intact, although it doesn't work on ANY channel, even after flipping the Channel switch on the bottom to the second setting.  Nothing.  Ah well, at least it was free :P

Thanks.  I have an old Gemini that crapped out, and an old Vader-model 2600 that also crapped out...I think I still have all the cables and crap, just gotta find them...and when I do, Demon Attack will be MINE!

I did it.  Fifteen years of life have not told me to stop playing this game, so I keep on trying.  Finally I beat it... sorta.

I beat E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial game 3 (no scientist or FBI agent to take you away) with 3899 points left.  Not much to brag about.  I dare someone to beat it though.

friggin ET is my b****.  I just beat game 2 (no scientist, FBI agent only) with 1230 remaining.

That Congo Bongo can be so irritating. You can't be a nanometer off when jumping to and fro things in the water. Jr. Pac is an awesome game but holy hell is it hard. I have yet to get to the later mazes (4,5,ect) and I refuse to start at them using the selection lever......so far.  I really want to try to get to them like I would have to do on an arcade machine and that's from the beginning.  I know, I'm a weird-o.   :P

Hmm, there's a surprisingly small amount of games on this list so far. I guess I should join in. Is difficutly settings a big concern? I don't see anyone listing them.

I would say just default and if you do anything strange just post about it.

Well good news, I just got an Atari 2600 4-Switch Darth Vader last night with 32 games and a Wico command control, and got it running, and ill try to get a decent set of high scores soon!

Ok but i did play it on my 2600 a couple weeks ago and i really got this. I cannot show it cuz u all no that  the score keeps rollin over at 10,000

The reason I say that is ROMS tend to be more like the real deal the the compilation games do.
