I havent played some of these games for a long time. Hopefully I will play them more and post better scores.

I'm not sure quite how this works or if i need to show proof (which I have no way of doing given the circumstances).  The only people as proof are the witnesses.

But, I recently got this score on Pac-Man (tengen) - 87960

Not too sure how it ranks with others here, but it stands as a house best for me!

We take your word for it. Your score is tops right now. Now if it was the arcade version that score would still need some work.

I played Gradius a couple times trying to beat your score Scott, but my top was 115k, so I just didn't beat it ;)

Thanks for adding Ms Pac Man and puting them in alpha order. Make is easier for people to look for score when the list gets big.

Go ahead.  That notebook was used about a year ago, last update.  I just had it in a box from when I moved, and found the notebook about a day before I saw the thread :P  I still play most of them, except Toobin, which I traded away, and Rampage, which I've played to death.  I know the Pipe Dream score is only a year old...think the oldest score is from about 2 1/2 years ago.  Oh, and I'm not gonna even try to break the Punisher...had to beat the game to do it, mighty tough to do, and not something I want to try again for a couple more years.

I was looking into that twin galaxies last night, but i don't know how to submit my score. i never recorded my score before so i dont know exactly how to do it. I want to do it cause i also have the high score for super sprint, and i missed the Wings score by 200,000. I just got tired of playing the game so i turned it off.

I  think it depends on the system how you can prove your score. I know sending in a VHS tape is on of them. I think I am around 30k away for teh record on Streets of Rage 2 for teh Genesis. I need to get a VCR to hook up to my TV.

I once maxed out my score in both the first Castlevania and Mega Man getting 999,999 in each of them. The score resets to 0 when you pass that mark. Of course, I got these scores by standing in one place and building up my points for a LOOOOONNNNNGGG time.

Woah...my scores are still standing?  Isn't someone gonna try and take some of them down?  Hell, the only two scores I got while trying were The Punisher, Pipe Dream, Duck Hunt and Tetris...everything else was just for the sake of getting a score :P

Alright Tynstar I hope you enjoyed your high score lasting this long! I finally got some time to play now so enjoy it while it last. Good score though.  :)

I played some Magic Jewelry today on a NES multi, and got the following score:

I just played through this maybe 2 weeks ago and had a great score in the 600,000+ range.   When you beat the game, it brings you to an end screen that doesn't have your score and I had to turn it off.  Pretty fun game though, although a bit too easy. I was pleasantly surprised.

Likewise, I just wanted to test it and ended up playing it long enough to beat it as it was a pretty entertaining game (and really easy).  I'm pretty sure that it brings you back to the titlescreen after the end screen, with the high-score listed there...didn't check just now but that's from what I remember from a few weeks ago. 

Super Mario Bros. 3 ~ Beat the game with no continues or cheats.  Played through all 8 levels and only skipped 2 stages with a cloud iirc.  I died maybe 10-15 times.  Anyway, I finished the game with 1,477,490 points and 90 lives.  :D  I wanted to beat the game with 99 lives...but that's real hard. ;)  It's also too bad I couldn't get to the 1.5 million mark...Oh well.  I even snapped a shot of the screen after I beat bowser showing my score etc, but I don't know how to post pictures at RF.  :P

I should also mention I played the game normally, as in I didn't die on purpose just to start a level over to get more points.  :P  I also didn't warp backwards with a whistle.  ;)

Well...Super Mario Bros. 2 this time.  :D  Since there is no point system for this game, I figured I'd try to beat it using no continues and gaining as many extra lives as possible.  I played the whole game with Mario and managed to beat the game without warping or using any continues.  I was on the brink a few times with no lives left!  I managed to beat the game with 8 lives though!  :D

And...well, I just couldn't ignore good ole Mario 1.  I have to admit that I had to go online to see how to do level 7-4...I forgot how to get out of the trap/maze!  But, other than that, I breezed through it with a score of 855,650.  :D

Rush'n Attack 411,100 (beat the game, then got to level 2 after it looped)
Mega Man 818,100 (game over near the end, I'm still trying to beat this with no continues)

First time I've played it in a long time. I got raped in Turbo Tunnel. I've made it to Robo-Manus before, albeit on more than one continue. I think the farthest I've got on a single continue might've been Surf City. I usually lose a few lives on Big Blag.

EDIT: Got a little further in Battletoads this time. I got killed by the ice cube twice and died on the same pink spikes 3 times in a row. A lot of it is just practice and remembering the layout of the levels.

EDIT on 1-2-2015: I skipped the snow level on Battletoads just because I knew I wouldnt' make it to the end of turbo tunnel without using at least a couple extra lives. did really well on surf city. died on a spike in the snake pit because I fell through the snake's head

Hit 61,600 on Paperboy last night en route to finishing the game...funny thing is that I only got to Friday on that run, and my winning run was actually the fourth highest score on the cart :P

I need to jump on this and see what I can do
