Title: Famicom and Super Famicom - UK settings, help need
Post by: thx1138 on September 04, 2004, 08:39:16 AM
I just got hold of some Super Famicoms and Famicoms.

Can anyone provide info on how to get them to work in the U.K?

power settings, t.v setings etc

I do have some "super nes converters", which are suppoed to have build in 50 /60hz switch - and provide NTSC in PAL output. But I am still fumbling around in the dark.

Oh, and all of the Famicom's and Super Famicoms, habve been "modded" somehow. They all have two leads protruding from the back, via a hole, which looks like it's been made with a soldering iron. The leads are what I know as "AV outs" but that might not be the technical term.

I also have one Famicom Disk (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/thx1138/School/DSCF0007.JPG)
any ideas how to partially test that, without a disk? To at least see if powers up or something.

thanks :)
