Do you have a phone at home?

Yes, I do have a phone in my home and a cell phone. My home phone is a Packet8 (http://www.packet8.net/residential_services/) Broadband Phone. They have the best rates and I've been with them for close to two years now with no problems. So I don't have a traditional phone line connected in my house.

We've got two landlines. One is in the office for business and the other is for home calls. My dad has three mobiles, mum has one and I have one.

Since I still live at my parent's house, I have a cell phone and a land line. I only give out my cell phone number though, and when I lived in an apartment we only had cell phone numbers.

I have both a home phone and a cell phone.  A lot of people have only the cell phone because of how cheap it costs compared to the home phone plus you can be reached anywhere with the cell phone.  Back in college alot of the kids only had cell phones.

There are a few companies that require you to have a landline for some reason. Some online stores ask for a landline to call you on when you register, probably for security. You're screwed if you only have a mobile in that respect.

One of my friends has been using just his mobile for a couple of years now because he's been living in council flats and couldn't afford a phone line as well as the mobile. And yet he usually leaves his mobile at home.

Just a cell. No reason to have both, since I'm going to get local fiber optic internet (some day, I hope).

Both, but the cell gets more use.

I have a home phone and a cell phone. The home phone sees way more use than the cell phone. Actually the only reason I still have a cell phone is for work.

I don't have a cell phone, but there ARE a few in my house. So I picked "House + Cell".

We would be cell phone only IF we got reception at our house.   We live in a city, but are just out of reach of every tower near us.  Plus our house could double as a fallout shelter.....

We have two phone lines at home, and they seem to be in use moreso than they are not.

edit: see my signature.

We would be cell phone only is we got reception at our house.

This sentence makes no sense at all, and makes my head hurt.

"We would only use cell phones if we had any reception in our house." ;)

I dropped my phone a couple of weeks ago and now I can barely get a signal anywhere.
