Title: Sad day for Baseball
Post by: TraderJake on November 16, 2007, 01:53:35 PM
Today is a sad day for baseball. Cincinnati broadcasting legend and the youngest person to play professional baseball, Joe Nuxhall, passed away yesterday at the age of 79 (http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071116/SPT04/311160012/-1/nuxhall). Known in Cincinnati as the ol' left hander and his trademark statement "Rounding Third and Heading Home," he will certainly be missed (http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071116/SPT04/311160028/-1/nuxhall).

I have no comment to make other than this displaced Mike McConnell.  It is a sad day for baseball, but I was hoping to hear some good Friday radio....
