Title: NFL Play-offs, and Superbowl for 07 / 08 season.
Post by: captain_nintendo on January 05, 2008, 12:39:20 AM
Well, play-offs start tomorrow. (today for you east coasters)

Any predictions? Favorites?

Can anybody beat the Pats?

I'm a Cowboys fan, and I'd love to see them win. I don't know how realistic that is, but I sure would like to see it.

If not, then I am pulling for the Pats to go perfect. You see, I am sick of hearing about the 72 Dolphins every year. I hate the Dolphins in the first place!

Thoughts?

anybody but the Pats.

sadly that's not likely to happen though. my ideal end to the season would be New England losing the Super Bowl, winning every game but the one that matters most. that would be beautiful.

yes... I hate the Patriots.

Oh, I'm absolutely rooting for the Pats.

Pats v. Pack would be about as good as it could get for me.

I'd like the Pats to take it.

I have to agree with Rick.
It would be nice to wipe the slate clean and have a new reigning champ.
Because they would probably pull the winning streak thru into next season :)

But Pats Cowboys would be awesome to see IMO.
Always been a fan of both teams(i was born into it.)

It doesn't matter, the best thing happened already, Jax knocked out the Steelers.

Colts For the Win, but likely the Pats.

Steelers / Jags game was great yesterday. There needs to be more of that today :)

Being a Steelers fan, the game last night was very entertaining and disappointing at the same time. Now with the Steelers out I don't care who wins as long as it's not the Patriots.

I too hate the Patriots!

I hate the damn cheating Patriots.  I hope they lose in the Super Bowl... to the Packers.  I think the Patriots can be beaten but it's going to have to be by the Colts, Cowboys, or Packers I think.  I want the Packers to win it all but I really think it will be the Patriots.

P.S. I hate the Cowboys, too.  I like them better now, though, seeing Romo is from Burlington.  I hate Terrel Owens, too.

F* Fasano for dropping that touchdown pass right into his chest, and F* Patrick Crayton for dropping a catch for a first down.

I guess I really don't care who wins at this point.

GO PACKERS!

Hellz yea!!! Go Pack!!  It would be complete awesomeness to have the Packers beat the lowly Patriots in the Superbowl.  What a complete waste of the season for the Patriots when they lose.

This Super Bowl is going to be a joke...

New England 37. New York 19.

MVP: Laurence Maroney.

By the end of the 1st quarter, no one will care since NE will probably be up 21-3 or something.

I had a few reasons for wanting the Pats to win.

1.) Tom Brady is a former Wolverine.
2.) I hate the 1972 Dolphins

That being said, I could really care less who won since my team wasn't in it.

that was one on my reasons for wanting the Giants to win.

Uh, shouldn't you like Michigan? Am I missing something?

Just because I live in Michigan doesn't mean I have to like players from the University of Michigan. U of M has an air of arrogance about it that I don't care for. They've won one national title since the late 50's yet they view themselves as the elite. That "we're better than you" attitude is never more apparent than on the annual Michigan/Michigan State and Michigan/Ohio State game weekends. It's rather annoying.

and now Brady and Moss have both backed out of the Pro Bowl.

You know, Brady might still have an issue with that ankle. So him backing out doesn't really raise any red flags for me. I mean why should he risk further injury for the Pro Bowl?

Maybe, but consider this...

In the past 3 seasons, has any other player played more games then him?

I'd want to start my vacation a bit earlier too ;)
