My wife made this for our anniversary.  Copied the pic from the internet, traced it onto the plate and painted the outline.  I think it's pretty cool.  She said she wanted to paint it but it would have been time consuming and pretty difficult too.

It works out fine just being "inked," though I'd love to see how this would look in watercolor style, similar to the backgrounds in the Yoshi's Island games.

Perhaps for the next anniversary?

EDIT: When I saw how the Nintendo logo was rendered, it reminded me of the one that popped up at the start of the Yoshi's Island games, which led to me thinking I'd like to see it colored in that style.

Strange how that thought process went, no?

I'm sure coloring in all the precise stuff would be a pain in the ass. Would probably cause capo-tunnel. Well at least to me.
