I think that Bil probably had it right. Levine probably looked back at the first game for an opportunity to tie them together.

I do think that the stories of Rapture and Columbia are tied very closely to one another. How tight? I think the upcoming DLC will let us know.

I've been too lazy to play any of the bioshock games but this one sounded quite a bit more interesting than the first two from the podcast. I'll have to grab it on a Steam sale.

I've known about these games for quite some time, but have been avoided them because I get disoriented from FPS's. It's been a battle within to play this game while feeling apprehensive because I love theme of the game as it's loosely based on one of my favourite books. This episode was the tipping point for me, and so far I'm glad to be playing.

Thanks man! My technique is so sloppy so I'll need as much luck as I can get. I'll be in touch with you with my thoughts, questions, comments. You can drop me a line on Skype too with you like.

I'm a little behind on the casts.

I have not played the game yet but still listening Tongue

It is interesting to hear you guys both praise and pick apart the game at the same time. Listening to this makes me want to play the series more than the short blips of people saying "Oh i loved this series" "Oh this is my game of the year" "Oh the story is so good"
