It is teh hottest day of the year so far. 110 degress with a humidity of 9%. It is supposed to go up to 113 today.

Ouch...we're (most of the time) lucky to hit 100 during the summer here in Indiana, although I've got the feeling that this is going to be an unusually hot year.

It feels like February here.  All month it's rained every day, and it hasn't gotten above 60 degrees.  Normally it's starting to get warm and sunny around now.

I've been a working stiff for nearly 20 years now. The majority of the past 16 years in full time jobs. The past 11 at my current place of employment.

Today was my first day at my job.  It was all right, I work 4 hours a day Monday through Thursday and Saturdays and I make $8.00 an hour.  But if things work out these first two weeks I'll be making $9.00 an hour.  My older brother has been working at a Casino for a year and just now got his first raise (to $10.00 an hour) about a month ago.

the first job I had the pay was $3.25 an hour. hell, when I first started here in 1994 my salary was $7.00 an hour.
