Traderjake writes reviews and makes awesome pics and gets stuck in traffic and surveying traffic

Thats not exactly new though, it's been going down for years now. :-)

I dunno if it goes down *that* often, its just that I'm too lazy to put it back up.  Most of the time, someone unplugs it and I don't even notice for a few days.

I took it down two weeks ago because I was upgrading it, and it won't power back on.  I'm working on it right now, but not making much progress.  It's gonna be an eazy fix too, something that I just overlooked, and its really gonna piss me off when I find it.  I know all the parts function, none of them are new.

It should be back up tonight though.  I finally got some free time to put into it. (Working 40+ hours a week eats the time away  Sad )

Oh, and welcome back Phia.

Well now, I can't have that, I'll have to bump it up to 667!

As I said earlier, it would be something stupid that I was overlooking.  As it turns out, I was absolutely right.  The RAM that I am using is single sided, and I stumbled across a line in the manual that says "If you are using single sided RAM modules, you MUST only use RAM slots 1 and 3. RAM slots 2 and 4 only support dual sided chips, as per the nForce 2Pro chipset specifications."  I of course had the RAM in slot 4.  Now to reinstall Windows. :-)

Oh it's not fixed yet, still installing Windows.  Prolly another 30 minutes to an hour before its back up, depending on 1) how many beers I have between then and now, and 2) how soon I install apache.  

...
