The Small Scores Thread: Part 2!

I got these today from the same pawn shop that I found Demons Crest and Mega Man 5 at for $2.00 each.

Each game was $1.00, and the SNES mini was $14 and it came with two controllers.  The other two controllers were $1.00 each.  They also had a N64 24 game storage unit for $10,.  I already have one, so I didn't get it.

Where do you find target salvage games?

Chrono trigger themed SNES would be sick not sure how you would paint it.

Target sends its salvage and clearance to Goodwill on specific days. If you find a Goodwill near a Target, it'll likely have salvaged items.

With yellowed SNES systems always check to see if they have the S-ENC chip in them which allows for the simple component video out mod. People are looking for these now, and you can still sell decently even discolored.

So over this past week, I've had a couple items arrive. First, my Secret Santa gave me a couple great items (I've actually been looking for an affordable Resident Evil 0, so excited to get this one):

and in the tradition of saving the best for last.. When we started recording the lastest episode of the Collectorcast, Bil mentioned that he had found a little something for me. He went on to tell me about a Criagslist grab he made recently, and then sent me over a pic of what he picked up for me. Let's just say that speechlessness was the result. Of course he could have sold it and made a very handsome profit, he's working out a trade situation with me that will make both of us happy.

So incredible thanks to Bil personally, and it goes to show again that this is really a one of a kind community.

We should have a thread dedicated to the Santa gifts so they dont get lost in the small scores. I think Duke will win the "spookiest x-mas gift" this year. Great games though, and I'm also glad to see you finally got that copy of Little Samson!! I know what a big one that was for you.

This was my Black Friday deal.  R.U. game was having 30% off everything and I had been wanting to get my stepdaughter a 360 with a kinnect so this was the perfect time.  its a 250 gb 360 and the Hey You Pikachu has the game and mic, but no yellow ball on top of the mic.  It was $330 for everything, but with 30% off I only ended up paying $230.  I am very happy I went into the store on Black Friday.

Small Pawn America haul today.  All complete with manuals too.  Finding a few great prices like this always makes it worth putting up with looking through hundreds of games that are not organized in any fashion whatsoever.

I know huh! I've often thought about just getting the cart for $8.00 at Gamers but I figured I'll wait it out.

@duke - Congrats on the Little Samson in February I am going to try and pick up a boxed copy depends on what anyone on NA is going to offer along with Flintstones 2 and Bubble Bobble 2.

You must live in Florida??? R.U. Game? is a sweet store I miss it since I moved back to Iowa (would love to move back there someday if I find a good job).  But we have some decent stores.. Are you in the Gainsville or Tampa area?  Or some place else haha.
