Nice haul on the FF guides. Those'll pay for the whole lot easy.

"Recycled" from Gamestop means that they processed it to be thrown away.

Does that mean an emplyee snuck it out?

Actually the Green "Recycled" games are simply used games from EB Games up here. All of their previously played product has green stickers. The whit tags like on Octomania they put on their "new" items.

Up here they just started using the green ones a few months ago.

Nice pickups Crabby, I've been trying to find Grandia for a while now. For some reason it feels like all anyone bought around here was sports games.

I saw Recycled stickers on a lot of the PS2 stuff they were tossing out around here a year back...

It seems like they find more and more convoluted ways to beat around the bush about things being second-hand.

It's a marketing thing.

My guess is, someone concluded that "used" didn't seem to have a very positive connotation with consumers, and they wanted to create a synonymous term that would be more appealing. So they came up with several alternative terms that sounded better, built a consumer survey around them, had a representative sample of people take the survey, and went with the one that was best liked.

And "pre-owned" was the winner.

And I hafta admit, it sounds a bit better than "used" to me...

for those in the US, you will be a happy collector the day your gamestop starts using these (if you use gamestop). they are by far the easiest stickers i've ever removed from any product before, they always come off hassle free and with no residue. i hope they never stop using these.

@Zagnorch - My vote is for Gently Loved

@Techwizard - So true. The come off like nothing. Its definitely a nice change from their last stickers that were the exact opposite.

Nice pick-up, Crabmaster. My inner RPG geek is jealous.

I've held off from hunting for the month because I don't know what surprises my Secret Santa has for me and I'd like to save up some cash.

When I was talking to my local pawn shop owner he said December is a busy time with loads of pawns coming in, so January will hopefully be a good month for me.

Went back downtown for Discworld II today and did another sweep and ended up with a few more games. $17 total for the games.

I unfortunately have never known that joy, but at least now I can remedy that Wink
