Haven't posted anything for a while, though still actively hunting.  I've been centering on expanding my XBox 360 collection lately - my latest console.  Unfortunately, some of the games have been retail purchases.

Hastings

I had been wanting to try out Duke Nukem Forever and Brutal Legend for a while, so $7 ea wasn't bad.

Play N Trade has had Buy 1 Get 1 Free on retro stuff all month.

Got COD Manual for a good price, since I bought the game.  Contra III was just brought in and I got it for $20, so Midway 3 was free.

Later trip.

Contra for $20 making Adventures of Link free, and the rest were essentially 2 for $3.

A buddy found a PAL region PS1 in a local thrift store months back, and his latest session of showing me the console was to give it to me.  If I still had my Samsung NTSC/PAL dual mode TV I bought in Korea...

Bought or traded for from said buddy.  The GBA GameShark(s) were also gifts and both work.

A purchase for a great price from bickman2k (games bought as gifts were gone before picture taken).  Gotta whip out the TI-99/4A to play some Hopper!

WalMart, while gift shopping.  Couldn't resist the KISS Hot Wheels.

And finally, tonight I picked up a lot from a Craigslist ad.  All games for $45 i.e. $3 each.

*game in GameStop printed cover is Just Cause 2.

While not quite a complete N64 collection or a selection of TI99/4A games from bickman, I was able to get my two copies of Nintendo Power (why are we all getting 2?)

I got these two neat strategy guides, they almost read like regular books, are funny and well written. A couple of cords I really needed, always nice. A weird N64 dohicky. And another non-major title racing game, I'm really starting to like picking this sort of game up.

You get 2 so you can open one to read and save the other in the plastic.

A Canadian interested in hockey variants?!  Shocked

I'm just commenting since I have really not had any pickups since Sonic Racing and Tank! Tank! Tank! for the Wii U.
Tank!x3 is pretty awesome though.

A bit late on posting this, but illness and laziness took all motivation out of me in the last couple weeks.  Got a package of some loose carts I purchased from Duke earlier in the month... Metroid yellow label, Double Dragon II, Mario Kart 64, Sonic & Knuckles, and Tetris & Dr. Mario.

and in other news, I took a trip to Saturn and found some cool stuff, see blog for details!

That was a fun trip to Saturn and we found a nice Neo the Geo on the way.

Hey everyone small pick up on the way back from Saturn with engel762.  The two boxed NES games are great especially Muppet Adventure which was practically new --- so minty fresh.  While the NP is my brothers second one which he had ordered online.

Enjoy - sadly no blog for these yet until more stuff is picked up.

Merry Christmas!!
