I picked up Rocksmith and then bought the bass expansion on top of that so it cost me $60 guys, and I still feel like I got my money's worth.   I don't play guitar but I do play bass and I've also been a Rock Band fan for awhile.  This blends the two nicely.

For anyone still needing their copy of the final issue of Nintendo Power, I found some locally:

Maybe other members can help in the search.

I am, however, lovin' that convertor, Zag.

@zag awesome converter sweet pick up

I only wish I was able to submit it to the RFG database. A manufacturer name is required for submission, but apparently the maker wishes to remain anonymous. I checked the packaging and scoured the internet using both the product's name and UPC, to no avail.

Them's the breaks I guess.

On the upside: I managed a small handful of scores yesterday.

- Monster Rancher BattleCard GB (sealed) for GBC, $4.99

- Felony 11-79 (CIB) for PS1, $1.25

- Donkey Kong Land 2 cart for GB, $1.99

A few things I got from niceguy1283.  Yoshi and Muppet Adventure: Chaos at the Carnival for the NES, and a Gameshark for the Sega Saturn that I picked up earlier in the week.

And I something for my liver too!

Just put in a lot of practice with that one, and you'll eventually be skilled enough for the full helmet version.

I haven't opened any presents yet, and I doubt I'm gonna get anything video game-related. Well, except perhaps for gift cards to retailers that sell 'em.

However, I did manage to grab a few things on Christmas Eve:

CIB XBox titles:
- Freedom Fighters, $0.95
- Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams Platinum Hits, $1.95
- Metal Slug 4 & Metal Slug 5, $1.95

- CIB Resident Evil 4 Greatest Hits for PS2, $0.95

Topping things off for the day was the arrival of the NES Advantage stick I bought from da Iz.

It's a big ol' honkin' stick of pure joy!  xmas
