First CIB Turbo Grafx 16 game, and sticking with this month's theme...

Now I just have to get a TG16.

Is the theme that the NHL and NHLPA reached a tentative agreement?

The box art for that is great. Congrats on your hockey score.

I've been on a TG16 bump too.  I watched a TG16 retrospective video by Pat the NES Punk last week and I've been on a mission since.

I've been wanting a TG16 and CD as well but finding one in my area will take some insane luck and timing on my part.

I want one, but its not even one of my goals this year.

Of course, on the week that I scheduled some vacation time to relax, someone at the New Year's Eve party passed me a beer and then their cold.  So I spent most of the last week at home on a DayQuil/NyQuil trade-off.

When ixtaileddemonfox sent the money for his Nintendo Power final issue, he included these goodies.

My only hunt this week was my usual Friday night Play n Trade stop.  Their PS2 and original XBox games were still on sale.  Games priced <$3 were 1/2 off, while all other games - no matter how high the price tag - were $3 each.  The sports games were <$1 each, but worth it if just for the cases.

Ninja Gaiden Black is a dup so FS/FT.

And I grabbed a few games for other systems.

Mario is Missing! is a dup and FS/FT.

I went a little heavy on the Ebay-ing this week, but I did manage to make my weekly game store visit. I picked up Legendary Axe for the TG-16 (I already had Legendary Axe 2). I also picked up Faria for the NES.

Same.  I've only ever seen them at expos, never at any stores locally.  so it's basically eBay or bust

While recording the new episode last night, the day that the lockout ended, I realized that every game I picked up this month was a hockey game Wink

@IXtails jet force gemini is great, if you haven't played it before i highly recommend it. just a word of advice when you play it, remember to collect every tribal you see...you literally have to collect every one in the game to finish it. much easier if you know that right off, unlike me who found out halfway through the game and had to redo a bunch of levels for it. though some are only accessible with weapons and power ups you get later on.

@silver80 looks like you did very well to me, that sega saturn light gun looks really cool

Holy crap, Silver.  A factory sealed Super Punch Out could probably fund your next half dozen purchases.  Very nice grab!
