I'm not superstitious, but just maybe my 40 mins of blah on the CollectorCast meant I didn't deserve any great finds this week.

The Thrift Store, except the Super Gojira was a much wanted eBay grab.  Anyone need a copy of Quake?

Play n Trade stop.  The Gears of War Limited Collectors Edition was only $2.50, but missing the slip sleeve.  They told me I could walk out with the Castlevania for $10, so I finally grabbed a copy.

I've been wanting to find a CIB Genesis for some time, so I finally bought one from my collector buddy.

Today I found a small lot of NES games on Craigslist for $10 that was miscategorized and left ignored.  The games were a decent deal at that price, with SMB3, but what he also had made me sit up in my seat.

The controller is from the Sharp 19SC111 Game Television.  I drilled the kid about where he got it in hopes of the big prize, but alas he just found it loose a while back.  He didn't even know about the TV that it came from.  Bummer, but really cool NES controller.

I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

I wish I lived in a place with flea markets year round.  Still, having them for 7 months of the year makes those months special.

Well lookie what I found at a flea market for $20:

Also, from a racketboy member, I scored both of these Sega CDs, as well as disc only copies of Sonic CD and Mad Dog McCree for $30. The model 1 just needed a new fuse, and now both work great. Guy gave me a seriously good deal, I'm gonna have to send some stuff his way sometime.

On that note, here's a nice comparison image showing just how BIG the Coleco Telstar is:
