Well, we traveled a good 40 miles away to grab my LE White 4GB Skylanders Xbox 360.

[...]

My wife wanted to try it out, and this was her first actual day off in a long time. Needless to say, she fell in love with Trigger Happy almost immediately,

It doesn't need to be said that you've got a keeper there...

...even though I just did.

Quote
and my roommates are interested in trying it out as well to the point where they were discussing grabbing a copy of the game.

Yeeessss... the addiction is spreading! Glory be!

Quote
...anyone with extra figurines for the original Skylanders can likely send me a PM at this point. Roll Eyes

I'm sorry to say I've already dealt all my extras to another RFGentleman.

None the less, best of luck on your hunt. If ya wanna PM me a wish list, I'll keep an eye out for ya.

BTW I highly recommend Drobot. The dude's got the best ranged attack out of the entire Series 1 lot. And just wait 'till ya get him powered all the way up; you'll take down most melee-attack types before they even get close to ya.

Picked up this stuff today in a craigslist find for 10 bucks.

I was only expecting the games, but the person threw in a SMS with controllers and the original adapters as well.  Although it won't power on  Undecided

I hear these are easy to fix as it usually has to do with bad regulator. So hopefully I will have better luck fixing this then I did with the Atari and Intellivision I recently picked up.

Awesome pick up for $10

Such a shame - a dead SMS.  I hope you can get it fixed.  Those are some fun games there.

First off, I got a sweet deal on a large O2 lot for about $26 shipped.  The boxes and carts are in great condition.  Those in the top section are extras so FS/FT, but the ones on the bottom are keepers.  The Speedway! I'm keeping is the Philips release.

And here are the finds from the weekend, when I wasn't up in the hills riding the red beast.

I took advantage of Best Buy's sale and snagged Epic Mickey 2 and the two Pokemons.  The rest are from a thrift store.  The Activision collection was a must have for a former Atari kid.  The other PS1s were just games I hadn't seen, so I took a chance.  The GBA is Final Fantasy Tactics.  The Mario 64 needs some cleaning and, if it works, it will be on the FS/FT list.

And then I found this non-gaming gem being used to display little nick-nacks - A Kahlua steel display stand in black & red.

I asked if they would sell it, and they accepted my offer of $20.  As Cartman would say, "It's so sweet, you guys."

Nice haul!  Love that o^2 lot.  That rack looks awesome.  Seems like it would be a great place to put some honored game systems.  Funny, but I've been looking into a light, open networking rack for that same purpose.

Oh, sure.  Collect the O^2 for great art if you want to be mainstream.  Us hipsters know that Arcadia 2001 box art is/was/do be cool before colored pencil was a thing. Wink

So today the same coworker who sold me Skylanders bestowed these masterpieces upon me:

All kidding aside I'm grateful and looking forward to playing them....except Duke Nukem which I only took because he was threatening to throw it in the garbage and of course I could not allow that, I don't care how bad of a game it is.

Yeah looks like we both scored big today!

I tried the demo so unless I'm in the mood for some punishment I don't see myself actually playing it either.

Purchased a Sega Pico from Missionfailed over a month ago and it hit my doorsteps today. Apparently their are variations of this system as the one I got the other day has a Pico and Sega sticker on the front with a built in carrying handle. The Pico I got today is lacking the stickers and handle. Also got another copy of Mickey's Blast Into The Past included.
