Hey now!

Found a few post-work scores this afternoon:

SNES carts:

- Wolfchild
- Space Ace
- Jim Power: Lost Dimension in 3D

Atari 2600 carts:

- Galaxian
- Dragonfire

CIB DS Games:

- Final Fantasy III
- Prof. Layton and the Curious Village

- Warlocked cart for GBC

- Prima Syphon Filter strategy guide

- Sega Dreamcast contoller with VMU: I was looking for another VMU; the controller is just gravy.

- Sega Saturn 3D Control Pad: Although I already own one, I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a standby.

I also discovered that the cord is detachable:

I wonder if it connects into anything else?

Whattaya mean, "my mom"?!  Angry

Oh yes, I also picked these up for a certain someone:

But since he's been a big meanie to me lately, he can suffer for all I care.  Tongue

BTW the red-lidded container of beads is from... IKEA? Since when did they start producing anything but furniture?

Topping things off was the big score that is sure to make a certain someone mess in his pants:

Apparently, the right upper flipper isn't misaligned; it was intentionally manufactured like that. At least, that's what I gathered when I looked at other photos on the internet.

It takes 4 batteries: two C cells for the lights and sounds, and two D cells for the constantly vibrating motor. That's the kind of battery-hogging the Game Gear could only dream about.

Then there's the analog scoreboard, with reset button. Oddly enough, scoring is very infrequent, as there are few bumpers that register scores. And even then, the ball has to hit them with enough force for a score to be made.

Okay, Raze, you can go hose down now.

You too, Nanners.  Grin

this is not a small score, but kind of one those get home and realize, what you really got. But in a bad way.

I picked up resident Evil 4 from value village today for 3 bucks, get it home open it up, and what do I find, no manual, and only disc 2 of the game.
 Angry

Oh well, at least it was only 3 bucks, not a total loss, but not a win either. Maybe I can find disc 1 cheap on ebay sometime soon

@Zagnorch: Great Saturn controller, I have never used one those, and I have always wanted to play my Nights into Dreams using it

II take it they place the price tag over the edge of the CD case that opens up to keep you from looking at it, just like they do at Savers, which is what Value Village is called 'round mt neck of the woods. And I'm guessing the tag read "No Exchange," so you couldn't return it for purchase credit.

I'll just take a look at it in the store before I consider buying it, myself. I just run my fingernail along the edge of the tag to cut it open, and take a peek to make sure everything is there, and in decent condition. 'Cuz i'll be damned if I'm gonna get stuck with something I can't exchange if it doesn't work out. You know?

I'm guessing it might be some carry-over from the Japanese version? Perhaps there were plans to make peripheral devices that were compatible with the cord? Seems like the most plausible reason to me, anyway...

Yep that was basically it, I shook it to see if I could hear the rattle of the disc, I did, and plus I didn't even think that there would only be one disc in there.  oh well, I will hold on to it and see what I can do about it later

Purchase from Bil arrived tonight.  He tossed the RBI Baseball in as a freebie.  There was also Bug! for the Saturn in the lot, but I took it down and gave it to one of the Play n Trade guys tonight.

And well I was at the PnT...

They tossed the Doom PS1 (CB) and the manuals into the 'For Jason' bin, so they were free.  The PS1 manuals are free to anyone that needs them.

The Mortal Kombat Deception Premium Pack is complete (except for the Sub-Zero trading card) - $9.
The display case was getting too full, so I got Shenmue for $10 & RE3 (no Dino Crisis bonus disc, but I'm sure I can find one) for $6.
NES games are usually about $2-$3.  Now I have three copies of Little League Baseball, if someone needs one.
I planned ahead.  The cases for the two Genesis games are on their way from GamerNick.
The GBA is Road Rash Jailbreak.

And the River City Ransom was my first GameGavel purchase - BIN $14.  This was one of my favorites as a kid, but I hadn't reacquired it yet since I have the WiiWare download and GBA version.

Yes that is correct there was supposed to be a different steering wheel to be attached to the cord.  ALSO there was supposed to be new controller designed to be better for arcade games hence they came out with the arcade stick but I am assuming it was supposed to be a smaller version of it?? I remember someone talking about this on a few Sega sites back in the day.

Also Zag nice score! I really dig the Sonic Pinball and of course the 3D Controller for Saturn.  The SNES titles are nice as well Smiley

While I'm not gung-ho about collecting complete boxed games, RoboCop Versus Terminator is one big exception. I totally dig that plastic shell for the game.

The only way they coulda made that box cooler is if they'd chromed it...  drool

Don't bother-- the man's already dead inside from years of psychological damage, emotional abuse, and severe lack of sunlight.

It's just not worth the effort.   :'(
