NIce grab with MGS Twin Snakes! Also I love Syphon Filter too. Fun to use the tazer gun thingy for an extended period of time and catch the enemies on fire.

I went for my first game run in almost a month, Sunday. I can't explain how excited I was to go to my usual store. I showed up there and found that there was quite a bit of new stock.

I was extremely disappointed to see that the owner had repriced stuff (all of it marked up to, or even above Ebay prices). I looked over at my buddy and he seemed just as disheartened by the revelation. The only "deal" I found was a Donkey Kong Country 2 cart which was covered in gunk. I bought it and cleaned it up like new... It's really disappointing to think that I may need to start shopping online exclusively, because this store owner has lost his mind (or maybe he's fallen on tough times... but raising prices won't help him for long).

I wish I had the time and strength to tell the story and post more pictures but I am very tired and have to work early tomorrow.  So for now, I'll just post the one picture.

Awesome!  I had one chance to buy a Playchoice 10 that I passed up thinking I'd find another one and it's haunted me ever since.  Glad to see someone is smarter than I am.

Hey now!

Woke up to the sound of the mail carrier ringing the doorbell to hand me a big box from Zagnorch. Look what he gave me for a Birthday gift  Grin

He sent me a tabletop Sonic pinball machine!!! This made jump for joy! He did however leave a note in the battery compartment telling me to get my own damn batteries  Tongue

Oh good, it finally got to ya. Yay and stuff!

But he just had to mention our little bet that we made during the World Series, which my Detroit Tigers got sweeped by his San Francisco Giants...

I thought I'd toss in an early April Fool's gag gift as well.

Speaking of which: a few other lucky RFGen denizens will be gettin' some April Fool's goodness from me in the coming days. This is the risk you take when you let me know your shipping address.

For Zag:

$5 each on clearance.

You didn't get Drobot?  Sad

You lame-o.  Tongue

But at least you now have three of the ladies of Spyro's Adventure to keep your collection from bein' a total sausage fest.

Stealth Elf is my fave close-quarters melee character. When you get her fully upgraded, she can land some really damaging blade attacks. Just make sure you use her speed to evade enemy attacks, 'cuz she suffers heavy damage too easily.

Anyhoo: tomorrow I'll reveal my latest small scores, including a few Skylanders tchochkes, and what could be described as a spiritual ancestor of the Skylanders series.
