Hey now!
Uncovered a few things here and there over the last week, including a few boxed Genesis carts for $3.99 each, including a few promising-looking Disney titles.

-
Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse
- Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey & Minnie
- TaleSpin: This was the only show on the Disney Afternoon that I watched on a semi-regular basis until
Gargoyles came 'round a few years later.
-
Cyber Cop
- Space Harrier II: a CIB replacement for my cart-only copy.
I also grabbed a couple Sega Saturn bits:
- CIB
Madden '97, $1.99: I had a Madden title for just about every system except the Saturn, so I figured what the hell.
- Performance Super Pad 8, $3.99
- CIB
Pipe Mania for PSP, $3.99
I also grabbed a quartet of
GameInformer back ishes for $1.25:

They even included a cell phone bill and credit card bill from the original owner. I think he was using them as bookmarks or something. Methinks I'll mail 'em back to the guy.
And of course I took advantage of Tar-Jay's buy-two-get-one
Skylanders Giants deal, and grabbed:

- Series 2 Hex
- Exclusive Jade Flashwing
- Lightcore Shroomboom
Speaking of which, I discovered a spiritual ancestor of the
Skylanders series:

It's the
Redbeard's Pirate Quest interactive playset for the PC! Like the
Skylanders portal of power, the playset features several "plug-in spots" to place a crew member figure to perform such activities as steering, navigation, and firing at hostile forces.
It's all thanks to the magic of Zowie Power, which according to the manual, "brings the playset and characters to life with your every move, letting you enter a whole new world of discovery, games, and surprises."

Now I just need to find a PC with Windows 98 and a PS/2 keyboard port to try this out on...
