Speaking of how dry it has been, I'm way behind on posting scores.

I had Tim Schafer sign my copy of Full Throttle (among other things for other RFG members).  He even made a pun about the fact that my name has one L



As a joke I asked him to sign my drink, also called Full Throttle, and he didn't miss a beat.

Got a awesome package from moonraker_fats which he posted in the Free Stuff thread. Got a beat to crap Legend of Zelda. I thought it would of been worse but it mostly appears to be the gold paint chipping away with a few other cosmetic issues but it works fine. Many hours of fun to come and very cool of him to hook me up. Also his note cracked me up

I found me a Mortal Kombat - The Animated Movie VHS tape in a flea market for 50 cents... and apparently it was it has "Secert hidden Codes" haven't found them yet ... but thats my small score of the week

Got a awesome package from moonraker_fats which he posted in the Free Stuff thread. Got a beat to crap Legend of Zelda. I thought it would of been worse but it mostly appears to be the gold paint chipping away with a few other cosmetic issues but it works fine. Many hours of fun to come and very cool of him to hook me up. Also his note cracked me up

- Zapper: One Wicked Cricket for PS2, $3.99: The latest effort to create a video game animal character with 'tude. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel...

- GunMetal for XBox, $3.99

- Tales of Symphonia for GameCube, $1.99: I bought this only to discover I already had it in my collection. 


Then I saw what it was selling for online, and I wasn't bummed out anymore.

- Nuby SoulCalibur II arcade stick for GameCube/XBox/PS2, $6.99

- Boxed Sears electronic football game, $3.99: Produced by BanDai, this thing makes Mattel's Football II handheld look cutting-edge in comparison.

- Sealed Hip Gear GBA SP charging station, $3.99: I almost passed on this, but I was won over by its-- dare I say it-- hip look.

- How to Win at Super Nintendo Games, $0.99: I've been on a bit of a streak lately with the Jeff Rovin books...

- Secret Codes 2K1: this was an exclusive release at something called "Blockbuster"... whatever that was.

- Manuals for TI-83 and TI-86 graphing calculators, $0.99 each

- Like, Omigod! The '80s Pop Culture Box (totally) companion book, $2.49: Originally part of a CD box set, this was a no-brainer pickup for this child of the '80s.


B-DAY PRESENTS FROM MY BEST BUD:



- Type-1 Sega genesis console with RF adapter, AV cable, AC cord, two controllers, and the following carts:

   - Two of Sonic Spinball
   - Mortal Kombat
   - Spider-Man
   - NFL '95
   - Lethal Enforcers

- Two Nerf Magstrikes with two extra magazines, and a pair of Nerf Dart Tag vests: I didn't have the heart to tell him I was downsizing my collection. But hey, it's the thought that counts, right?

Great Stuff Everyone, glad to see other people don't count just games as scores.

I posted about this in the ebay thread, but thought I would post more about it, since I received my package today

Here is stuff I won from ebay a week ago for 13 bucks. The ad said none of these systems worked, but in fact the model 1 works great, and 2 of the model 2s work fine as well. the other two don't work, but it seems to be the power supply issue that is common in these, which turns out to be a way easy fix.

I will be cleaning these fellas up, fix the other two and then I will be modding two of them and the rest are going up for sale. So stay tuned. I might try and get power adapters for them, if I can find them for cheap.
