@Gamer is so so, but like GI I just enjoyed having physical mags laying around the house. Good bathroom reading material, or the kind of mags I might grab if we're sitting outside or going to the beach or something. You don't mind if they get damaged, and they're at least enjoyable to skim thru.

That said, @Gamer's real selling point is all the coupons. Lots of good coupons.

They're supposed to ask you if you want the physical magazine or digital when you renew.

Best Buy? I signed up for the first time ever a week ago. At check-out I said "don't you need my address for the magazine?" and the girl said "no they don't send out a magazine anymore. They email it to you."

shrug.

That was in reference to GI.

Went into Games Plus today on a whim and found a few pleasant surprises.

The Legend of Heroes II - Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch (PSP) - $7 CIB
Silpheed (Sega CD) - $5 CIB

I had a dollar discount card for Games Plus I'd been itching to use, so I don't think I came out too badly. Smiley

Didn't pick up much this week, but I did get these from my local Goodwill yesterday (06/12/2013):

The "controller" is a plug-and-play 30-in-1 full of arcade and NES clones, including clones of Donkey Kong Jr. and Bomberman.  There's also the Atari 2600 cart, Football, that even though I don't own a 2600 at this point in time, it was only a buck and in fantastic condition.  Finally, though not directly gaming related, one of the worst things ever spawned from the TMNT universe for a quick cash-grab, "The Making Of: The Coming Out Of Their Shells Tour."  Again, only a buck, and I really enjoy really horrible things like this for their novelty and crappiness. leo  The description on the back really makes this worth that whole dollar I spent:

And this is what I picked up today (06/13/2013) at the only local retro game shop in my area, called Gaming Grounds:

Nothing spectacular or rare, but it was stuff I didn't have in my collection and I was able to find pretty cheap, so definitely not complaining.  Plus, with the Arcade Classics carts, I have something to play on the Gameboy Color I keep in the bathroom besides Tetris or Super Mario Land ad nauseumTongue

That's a great flashback, the Shells Tour.  I'm going to have to look around for the tape.
