Ah yes, I remember the days of those constant late-night infomercials. I wanted one so bad, but $700? That was 5 of my paychecks back when I was in high school. After receiving my first CD-i game from slackur the other day, I decided it was time.

DVS VE-200 in great condition, with built in digital video cartridge to read my old VCD discs from when I was overseas. Unfortunately, the VCD picture was so low resolution back then that they look like crap on my big screen. I have some more games on the way, and I will definitely need to grab a light gun and a better controller. Burn: Cycle is a pain in the tail with this controller. Anyone have CD-i stuff FS/FT?
It started with grabbing Puzzle Bobble VS for the best price I've seen, so I ended up with the rest of these from the same eBay seller.

The other day I ended up downtown and done with my work day before the stores were closed, so I stopped at a couple of pawn shops. Oh, Baby!

From the first, I grabbed Mario Party 3 & Super Smash Bros for $15 each and a Pokemon Yellow & Crystal for $7 each.
And then it turns out the second stop ALSO had a Pokemon Yellow for $6. PS2s were $5 each and the House of the Dead Returns was retail.
The Godzilla PS2 is interesting. It's obviously a knock-off because it's in English but is labelled as NTSC-J, and the Playstation 2 lettering at the bottom is clear instead of white so you can see the disc behind the label. They could have at least called him Gojira on the disc. $2 for a Godzilla oddity.
When I got home, I realized that it was such a great hunting night so far that I had to swing by my only remaining weekly stop - CDWorld. They had just placed these in the case that afternoon.

All CIB, except Lethal Enforcers II is missing the manual.
Not a bad week so far. And next week will be much better as it is my last at my current job. Bigger and better things, man!
