Well, I didn't do to bad today(tag is what I paid)

That's $2.39, not $239, if that's what you're thinking XD.

Yeah, i know.  Insanely jealous guy over here.  Even with a little bit of label damage that's a tremendous deal.

The local flee market vendor was downsizing his collection so I picked up Kartia at an OK price and a couple NES titles.

Top Gun Thruster Master Flight Stick(PC)

I wish I could find some pci cards with a game port. I have some old computers with game ports of course but it would be nice to use old joysticks on newer pc's too.

Nice finds.

Yeah I wish I could try it out on my PC as well Tongue. Got it mainly because the top gun logo was awesome and I like Thruster Master Sticks. Plus at $1 a piece for the Saitek and Thrustmaster stick I couldn't pass them up. Hell the guy even tried to give me the Saitek stick for free Tongue. His brother had just died and he was trying to clear the house out.

Edit: Apparently there are actually some Gameport to USB adapters out there. A guy brought it up on Racketboy when i posted my finds.

Saitek makes good joysticks. I have the x52 stick myself. My only complaint is the range of motion the actual stick has, I wish it was about half as much. Other than that, it's awesome.

Thrustmaster was the stick to get for pc gaming back in the 90's. Especially if you were into flight sims. I remember seeing them all the time at computer stores. Egghead, Circuit City, Incredible Universe.....remember those?

Although sad as to why he was getting rid of the sticks, it's funny he tried to give you the Saitek stick for free. With USB it's actually usable on modern pc's, the Thrustmaster is only useful to a small group of gamers  Tongue

Well the real reason he was selling was actually a little more crazy lol. Apparently he owned the house and was letting his brother live in it. However his brother somehow got possession of the deed and when he died at the rip age of 50something(Heart Attack or OD they were still waiting for the autopsy) he left the house to his 26 year old girl friend who was now evicting the guy from the property. So he was trying to sell everything he could before she took possession. The seller had no clue his brother was even dating the girl and has never met her Tongue.

On another note. I sadly missed most of the 90s gaming era since I was born in 91 and didn't take a fancy to gaming until around 97.
