picked one up a few days ago but without a controller. but great find which version of the cd-i is that?

That one actually isn't numbered like the rest. Rather, it's simply branded as being made by LG Electronics, formally GoldStar.

yeah I noticed the LG label.  I did not know that LG used to be Goldstar, that is what I always thought was crazy about the cd-i, that multiple brands put out different versions.  Thanks for the  background info, I guess you are "A walking reference book"

@ Redd - Great CD-i pick up!

@ Smith - Great Haul - RPG and Kirby are worth both about what you paid alone for all of that Cheesy Have fun with them!

@Retro - Yeah he snatched my thunder lol ;-) And thanks!

Speaking of CD-i's they are fun I have two - one that has the Video Card and a controller - (memory of engel going berzerk almost over Zelda/Link then kicking butt in Hotel Mario).  Then I have a second one which is a developer system :-D

Didn't get a ton today but I got some great deals. Spent a total of $13

The House of the Dead III(No Manual)
Ninja Gaiden(No Manual)
2 Xtreme(In a Road Rash 3-D Case)
Alien Ressurrection(CIB)
Jumble Handheld by Tiger Electronics
Namco TV Games VGS(My favorite plug n play of all time already have one)
Atari Plug N Play by Jakks
Official NES Zapper Grey
Official Genesis 2 Power Adapter

Stuff heading for my freebie pile in my sale thread:
Tomb Raider III Adventures in India
Tetris Handheld by Radica (Love that it has the original music)

Didn't even notice that Jumble could take expansion paks till I was checking it out at home.

I love the Namco plug and play probably spent over 20 hours on the one I have. Love Pac-Man and Galaxian on it.

$40 and change after trading in some more of my trade pile that would have been not worth putting on eBay.  Bucky O' Hare I already had.

I've had 2 toasters die in the past month (worse than just a pin connector), I'm DONE with 'em.

I'm really starting to hate my toaster Tongue. Might have to keep an eye out for a top loader. As of the moment my toaster only reads games that are pushed in just right which means 4-5 minutes of fiddling with the cart before finding the sweet spot. It flat out refuses to play games if you press them down like you are supposed to Tongue. Already replaced what looked to be a perfectly fine 72-pin so I have no clue what the problem is Tongue.

I had just bought the five on the left for $1 each, but she wanted them gone and told me I could just go ahead and take all the games there for $5(The FF and RE game sadly have no manuals). The loose ones were in a zip-up CD case, which I also got.

Got all this for $5 elsewhere(it was $7 total by tag price, so I got a bit of a deal) There was more demo discs, but I didn't want to spend a fortune so I just got the ones with original sleeves, the other were just in generic paper ones.)

Nice haul. Was hoping to run into some more demo disc myself today but only bumped into a single loose one. Seller was charging $5 flat rate for his games though and I couldn't get him to come down on the price even after I had explained to him it was a sampler disc and not a full game Tongue.

I finally picked up Mario Kart 7. I got it used at GameStop. Ended up being $40 with tax. After I got in the car on the way to work I thought I should have just bought it new to get the Nintendo points. Going to return it in the am for a new one. Blah
The retro store that's 20 mins from me had a used one for $30 but have to take in extra gas and time

I finally picked up Mario Kart 7

I had a blast with Mario Kart 7.  The toughest online competition I think is late at night in North America, when the Japanese players come online.
