Thanks guys. I need to put them on to a few of my other controllers. I did pick up a controller with the birthday sticker on it that came in Nintendo power.

As of now the WaveBird is safe..... Well at least till I pick up another one. Ha

Speaking of Wavebirds.....look what i got today!

No receivers though. Value Village was gonna toss these so they have them to me for free.

Did they throw in the cat paw for free, too?

Whenever I find wireless controllers at the local Savers, they're always lacking the receivers-- mainly 'cuz they sell the receivers separately. Jerkoffs...

I used up the last of my credit at R.U. Game and got Top Gear Hyperbike which completes my Top Gear subset for the N64!  I also got Elebits, because it was fun when I got it at Wii launch and Guitar Hero World Tour is for my friend Angel.  She is really good with guitar games and loves Rock Band and Guitar Hero.  I only had Guitar Hero III.

I'm sure you can get your friend plenty of guitars at goodwill for the game you got her as well. They always have like 5 when I go there.

Same with my Goodwill, I've seen them put out a Genesis and price the system, cords, and each controller separate(and the same with a stereo and it's speakers)

Should go in there and just buy 1 speaker. Kinda screw the next guy who wants the whole stereo. Lol

Been picking up a ton of Pokemons and Final Fantasys in prep for my future store lately, but finally picked up something I think I'll keep for myself. After loading up some shelving I purchased a while back my son wanted to look through some comics before a store closed out so I told him to grab a couple that looked interesting since they were cheap. While browsing he pulled this one out and since I just recently picked up the cart it caught my eye immediately. Probably not worth anything, but it was pretty cool non-the-less so I made sure to grab it. Did not know it was a comic before today Smiley

That's an awesome find Crabby! It's always cool when there's companion media to a game.

Wikipedia says there was a VHS release of an animated series that featured Whoopi Goldberg, Tim Curry and Christopher Walken as the voices. I think I need to find that now along with the other 5 issues of the comic Wink

Savers?

Zag... Russ... where are you guys from?

I reside in San Jose, near all the wicked-awesome geeky tech stuff. I'm within five miles of two Savers thrifts, and both of 'em are in the habit of selling components separately.

Still, they have some redeeming features. For example, I hit one of 'em on the way home from work today, and grabbed the following:

Loose SNES carts, $1.99 $1.39 each with stamp pass:

  - Mario is Missing!

  - StarFox

  - Battletoads in Battlemaniacs

  - Super Mario World

  - StarFox

  - Super Mario Kart

  - Super Battletank: War in the Gulf

  - The Lion King

Sega Genesis carts, $1.99 $1.39 each:

  - X-Men 2: Clone Wars (loose)

  - Last Battle (boxed, no manual)

  - XGranadaX (boxed, no manual)

  - Zero Tolerance (boxed, no manual)

  - Toxic Crusaders (CIB)

I also grabbed:

   - Bomberman 64 cart, $1.99 $1.39

  - Bakugan Battle Brawlers (Wii, sealed), $2.99 $2.09

  - Nerf N-Strike maverick dart blaster, $0.99 $0.69

[/URL]

Earlier this week I found a sealed copy of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D for the 3DS for $9.99.

My GBA SP grip and face protector also arrived in the mail, as did my long-awaited Trunkin' Donuts shirt... which is my "tribute" to a coworker's idea to sell pastries out of the back of his car. No, seriously.

All-righty, that's it for now.
