Are we so calloused to Techie's huge scores he doesn't get comments anymore?
Did you see his huge score a couple pages back? To be fair he did get a couple comments but maybe he won't notice there weren't more because of this:

Hopefully he is out blasting through trails, crawling over rocks and logs, finding jumps and trying to get stuck. That's what I would be doing anyways....

Sorry, what? I was busy trying to find more images to post as responses to painful memories of former finds, as requested by my master.

Seriously though, for anyone with an SNES Mini, read Zagnorch's blog on how to identify knock-offs. I never knew about them until he wrote that, and I've seen 3 since.
Wait... I wrote a blog on this?
When?
'Cuz that's news to me...

Could've sworn it was you, since you got the bootleg... I know SOMEONE wrote a blog on how to spot fake bootleg consoles. Maybe you just provided a link to another blog.

Not to get even more drifty, but you might be thinking of the following thread:

Nah. I remember reading through a blog about it when you mentioned yours was a bootleg originally. Might've been a link posted by someone else on it then.

She's in the shop, getting a carb kit installed, but thanks for extending the beauty for a few more pages. Not a gaming related pick-up but, since she's really a symbol of my release from my old job that burned my time and motivation, it's very relative. It's fully paid for, courtesy of all that vacation time I never used because I was so busy. With the new job I get more satisfaction at work, a lot less stress, and plenty more free time to enjoy life outside of the office. That does also mean more time to enjoy my game collection. Is it wrong for me to consider decaling her up with a Super Mario Bros theme? Does anyone else have any ideas with the blue/grey color scheme?

Let me know if you need help doing a super Mario bro theme. Ha.
Blue and grey. Nothing comes to mind. Maybe sonic. Can paint the grey parts yellow. Or red

No yellow. My brother's wife would insist it was hers. The ATV is actually the only vehicle I own that isn't red/black. I love red. But I don't want to repaint something that is going to get hammered with mud and dirt. Sonic would be cool.

In response to if the SNES mini I picked up is real of fake, looking through a few sites a dead giveaway to a fake vs. real is the fake ones use Phillip screws in place of the Gamebit screws that Nintendo has used. Also the model sticker is bolded on the real version.
Nothing from what I can tell would indicate this is a fake.

Snapped a few pics of my SNES mini

So my Goodwill finally expanded their game selection beyond EA Sports. I bought the GTAs mostly for the posters since they have them, there was a Halo 2 that I passed on. There was no disc. I have quite a bit of personal history with the Xbox Far Cries so I'm looking forward to remaking our Column map that we used to always play on when I was in high school.
EDIT: I was cleaning out my old roommate's room and found his real, actual Xbox One and he's letting me keep it, so no more shitty 360 emulation!

A little something I won from ebay on monday morning, amazed it got here already.
Came with all the hookups, manual, and what I assume are the safety precautions. Also in the box was an "Ultra N64" adapter cart, for playing US carts on JPN system, and vice versa.
