Duke, which local store?

The Anderson Game X Change. You should really stop in there sometime.

Grabbed this at the Salvation Army today. Couldn't find the right case but still a good grab at 99 cents. Going in my FS/FT if anyone needs it.

I don't really post my scores until I find something I think is REALLY odd or interesting. Today is one of those days.

I picked up a "sealed" wavebird at a thrift store for $7. It looks like someone need the batteries and cut a hole in the package to get them out. I'd just like to thank that person for leaving the rest of the unwanted items safe in the package.

Does it count as sealed if its 90% sealed?

Well after a little dry spell with my thrift stores the thrift store gods finally shed some light on me.

Picked up a Sega Game Gear in mint condition with power supply and tucked in 'er tight little slot was NBA Jam as a little bonus for $5 thats a pretty damn good deal. The system works like new.

Also picked up

Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge (PS2)
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (GC)
Solders of Fortune (GEN)
Shadow of the Beast (GEN)
Sega Smashpack (GBA)
Sega Rally Championship (GBA)
Grand Theft Auto (GBC)

Everything was under $20, not bad. Glad I have a friggin Game Gear now!

Picked this first lot up in a trade with Duke.

And then I picked this stuff up at work today.

Sadly, before I sold a couple of my Mega Man copies, that was the last one I needed for the set.

Looked through a drawer of old CDs at my parent's house tonight and found my old copies of Final Fantasy VII and Brave Fencer Musashi.  I've been looking for these games at a good price for a while.  The only hiccup is that FF7 is missing Disc 2..........if anyone has an extra, let me know.

Bought a gamecube at a garage sale for $8 this morning. Unfortunately none of the controller ports work. Luckily when I got home and popped the lid open there was a copy of Animal Crossing inside.

If anyone wants the gamecube, you can have it for shipping costs (console only). Also Animal Crossing is going in my FS/FT.

This is why it is so important to let everyone in your real life know you are a collector!

On Friday I mentioned to a coworker that I would be spending the weekend garage salin' because I'm always looking for video games.

He told me his son might have some "nintendo stuff" in his attic and if I was willing to go up there and sort through all his crap I could take whatever I wanted.

So this afternoon I drove to his house, went in his attic and went through about six huge rubbermaid tubs filled with junk to sift out this stuff:

Damn well the picture is rather cloudy but you can tell what most of it is.

It's a great haul for free. Ironically about 90% of these are dupes for me so my FS/FT thread is going to get quite a boost as soon as I can test all this stuff.
