So I really didn't feel like going by the pawn shop on the way home, but I'm glad I did. Grabbed this stuff for $20:

Odin Sphere is a dupe for me, so it'll be going in the thread if anyone is interested Smiley

I’ve had a pretty good week so far.

It started rather slowly as I picked up a CIB copy of Final Fantasy IX for $2.49.

Then came the avalanche, as I picked up CIB copies of Quake, Armorines: Project Swarm, and a memory expansion pak with puller-outer thingy for $1.99 each. Weird thing was, I bought ‘em at a place that almost never stocks second-hand games prior the PS2-Xbox-GameCube era. Sadly, the cardboard, manuals, and inserts aren't in the best condition.

But if that wasn’t enough, I also bagged the following CIB PS2 titles for $1.95 each:

-   Manhunt

-   Resident Evil: Outbreak

-   Japanese Star Wars Jedi Starfighter: Normally I shun any Star Wars game set solely in the prequelverse. But I figured it was cheap enough and foreign enough to justify getting it. And just when you thought I actually had some intregity...

Rounding out my game scores were several CIB XBox titles:

-   Black, $1.95

-   Breakdown, $1.95

-   SpyHunter 2, $1.95

-   Unreal Championship, $1.95

-   Prince of Persia: the Two Thrones, $0.95

-   Fable with Ltd. Ed. Bonus DVD, $0.95: Although I already had The Lost Chapters release, I figured it was worth a buck to get the bonus DVD version.

-   S*** W**s: K*****s of the O** R*******, $0.95: If you tell what’s-his-face about this one, I’ll hurt ya.   Lips Sealed

On the non-gaming front, I picked up a sealed DVD box set of the fifth season of Monk at a yard sale for just a buck.

I also grabbed a Rube Goldberg-esque beat-the-clock labyrinthine obstacle-course thingy called SNAFU for $3.19. All the moving parts operate properly-- I just need a steel ball to actually play it...

Nice scores Mr. Zagnorch. I love Unreal Championship on X-Box. I spent thousands of hours on that game.

I thought you were gonna brag about many hours you spent watching Monk.

Um, not that I'm disappointed in you or anything...

Hmm...I can't tell what that game is with the white-out all over it. Is it another copy of Pokemon Yellow?
Also, awesome copy of Jedi Starfighter.

I don't watch T.V. I only watch Comedy Central as far as T.V. goes. I probably only spend 25 hours a year watching T.V.

60-70 hour work weeks will do that to you.

Nice find on that Expansion Pak Zag!  I've been looking for that damn removal piece forever...

Also, nice white-out.  I'm gonna agree with Shadow and say that it is Pokemon Yellow.  Cheesy

Thanks, but I've stopped collecting for the N64.

I managed to snag a new 320GB PS3 Slim on Amazon from a 3rd party seller.  It says it was shipped on Saturday, but the tracking info hasn't updated reflecting that yet...

I went to Sheerness today with my Nan and Granddad to look around the charity shops.
I didn't find much:
8 Hot Wheels cars (One is a blue redline Hairy Hauler) £4
scee catalogue video 3+ (On an inner PS2 tray, loose) £0.00 (They gave it to me free because they're not allowed to sell demo discs)

On the way back to the car, we stopped in a game store (44 The Broadway, Sheerness).
As soon as I stepped in there, I noticed a certain console in the display case...
A Dreamcast! (With controller + VMU + cables) drool
They wanted £25 for it, but my Granddad managed to get it for £20.
It's going to be my Christmas present. Grin
Also picked up Burnout 2 (XBOX, no manual) for £3

I've tested the Dreamcast and it's working fine but there's a loose connection where the wire goes into the controller.
Not such a big problem, it can probably be easily fixed.

The Dreamcast was a nice find. Good job! I hope you thanked my Granddad.  Wink

I've been looking for a Dreamcast myself, but haven't found one at the right price.
