I'm excited to play.
Wonder what this will do to the value of the cart.

I'm glad people will get a chance to play this when it comes to Wii U/360.

I'm glad that this game will gain more exposure.  I still need to finish Pier Solar on the Genesis.

I believe they're also porting it to the Dreamcast (or at least considering it).

I backed this on Kickstarter. My pledge was for the Dreamcast edition.

The possibility to play Pier Solar HD on Wii U is exciting. I hope that actually happens.

Quick question... How much was the cartridge when it originally came out and how were they selling the game? I didn't hear about it all when the Genesis/Mega Drive cart was released.

@Fleach - I believe it was $50 and $60 if you wanted your name in the credits.  This was back in 2008.

The basic version was $35.  The Posterity edition was $50, I believe.  The reprints started at around $40 and went up from there.

Hey finally new info!

Apparently it has also been announced for Xbox One now and the 360 version (at least) is supposed to be slated for April release.

I've been waiting for this one for a while.  I backed the Kickstarter for the Dreamcast edition.  I was disappointed but not at all surprised that it didn't make the original Dec. 2013 scheduled release.  Hopefully we'll finally be able to play it in April.

^There may also be a 3DS version in the works.

Since it would be essentially identical on all platforms i'm assuming it is a budget release. Hopefully 20$ or less.

It's funny seeing the Dreamcast symbol beside the Xbox One in a game trailer lol

Man, never did a kickstarter before, but I have an overwhelming urge to drop the $49 for the Dreamcast version. Should I do it?

I backed the Dreamcast version and I'm looking forward to it. Pier Solar will be on so many platforms it pretty much is a choice of wanting a physical or digital copy of the game.
