You find some good stuff, Mumbo. The shops around here have tons of CDs but none are particularly good. You also need patience to sift through them all.

Yeah, it takes a while to look through the CDs, especially when the stores have them with the fronts facing outwards.
In one charity shop, I turn all the CDs so the spines face outwards so it's faster to look through them. They usually turn them back by the next time I visit. Angry

I'm mainly seeking out albums that are featured in the Burnout games. I do sometimes find other interesting CDs and pick those up too.
It's usually just one single track that I want from each CD, but I refuse to buy digital download versions. shrug

These were two for £1. I only bought the Avril Lavigne one for "Sk8er Boi", and because it was the only other CD that was interesting...

I saw metal legends Iced Earth a couple weeks ago, so I bought their latest album on vinyl at the show.  They also had a bunch of older CDs they pulled out of the warehouse, which were all original pressings, and mostly out of print, so I snagged several.

These were only £1 each... Turns out that's an excellent deal.

I always forget about this thread. My coworker collects music and our talks have got me more enthused about looking for albums.

Not an album with a track featured in a Burnout game, but there is a song in a Burnout game by this artist.

Bottom-right CD is an album with a track in Burnout Revenge.
Bottom-left is an album that has tracks in multiple Burnout games, but isn't the album featured in-game.

Harry Potter...

An album with a track in Need for Speed Underground 2

An album with a track in Burnout 3
