Ralph H. Baer, credited with the creation of the Magnavox Odyssey, AKA first home video game system, passed away on Saturday at the age of 92.

Primitive as the Odyssey was, the world needed this form of home entertainment.  I don't think anyone else would have imagined a toy that you play on the television... or interchangeable cartridges for nearly another decade.

A fascinating life story of invention, military service, ingenuity, intellect, and perseverance.  Mr. Baer was certainly one of the greatest visionaries of this century, IMHO, and just as impressive to me was his integrity and character.  Big fan. 

May we all live as full a life.
