Over the past couple years (mostly just this last year though) I've been playing through the entire Turbografx 16 library on original hardware and a CRT with no cheats or third party devices. Yesterday I finally finished the 94th/94th game on the system! So now I've beaten every licensed North American TG16 AND NES game this way! As I did with NES I recorded footage of each game from start to finish in case anyone is curious to check them out:

You make time for the things important to you. I also tend to over plan my day and schedule everything we'll in advance so I don't waste any free time

Some favorites were:

Soldier Blade, Raiden, Tricky Kick, Final Lap Twin, Victory Run, Splatterhouse, Galaga 90, Bloody Wolf, Neutopia II, Cadash

Least Favorites were:

Night Creatures, Bravoman, Deep Blue, Alien and Devil's Crush. And the sports games in general were fairly lame on the TG16

I like Bloody Wolf.  Last Alert and Final Zone II have terrible voice acting but have a charm to it.

What about NES, least and most favorites?

I was honestly surprised at how much I liked Bloody Wolf. I really though it wasn't going to click with me going in. Now I'm more looking forward to Last Alert and Final Zone II!

Favorite NES: Mega Man 3
Least Favorite NES: Championship Pool, Athena, Hydlide, Bases Loaded I, II and IV

I've played it very little but most of the time I hear/read people talk about it they like it well enough. Out of curiosity, what is it you don't like?

To beat Alien Crush you need to score 999,999,900 points. There are no saves and even the biggest score bonuses they give you are miniscule. It took me a little over 27 hours to beat Alien Crush over a four day period with a few scares where I nearly ran out of balls like 14 hours in. It's the dumbest win condition to a game I've ever come across yet.

For context Devil's Crush has saves and passwords for the same objective,  but also is more generous with its scoring and takes about half that time to beat.

Also as someone who owns and plays pinball regularly, Digital pinball from this era is just not good

Ah, well that all makes sense.

I agree that digital pinball from back then isn't great. Other than the Space Cadet table I don't really care for them. Some of the new pinball (video games) are ok, I haven't found a great way to play them yet, I've mostly tried on a tablet though.

Real pinball is great. Wife and I play it when we can. We have a pinball machine but it needs a lot of work to make it playable. That's a future project.
