I usually don't bother with the Black Friday sales. I did notice that KAy-Bee had a couple GBA games on sale for $4.99. Nothing special, Elf & Pac Man world. They opened at 5:00 this morning. I woke up about 6:30 to take a leak and figured what the heck I'll take a quick drive. I got there at 6:45 and the GBA games were already long gone. oh well.

The only time I have been in a store on Black Friday was when I worked at Best Buy one year ago. Boy was that fun.

It's the day after Thanksgiving, and the biggest day of the year for sales across the nation.  If you enjoy living, it's best not to enter any major retailer at all today.  Scary shit...

I think.

Crazy drop in pay  laugh But I kind of enjoyed the change in work. Of course I couldn't see myself doing this more than twice a month.  Tongue

I just got back from half a week of watching g4 at my Grandparents. If I ever see a Call of Duty 2 commercial again I'll find an old M1 and go on a mass murder/suicide rampage. Every commercial break it was the same two misleading Call of Duty 2 commercials. Whats the deal with that? They're trying to make unsupecting parents think it looks that good?

I thoroughly enjoyed how they kept reairing the XBox 360 launch party over and over. My God, you can barely tell that Microsoft owns the station. What was even more depressing was that Adam Sessler was hosting it, and I always thought of him as a rational human being that would not fall to the money being pushed by Microsoft.

You only wish that your city could be as conservative as Cincinnati. We are so conservative, Mark Twain is quoted as saying that he would rather be in Cincinnati when the world ends because the city is 10 years behind the rest of world. You still don't think we are conservative? Jean Schmidt is one of our House of Representatives members, and we have a Creation Museum. Personally I think it is moronic to think that the world was created in 7 days, but those wonderful people at Answers in Genesis are entitled to their own opinion.

That was before he became famous.

And he quit his TV show to start a political talk show in Cincinnati last year.  He is, aparently, trying to launch a political campaign.

I'm gonna laugh at him when he runs for office and loses, after quitting what must have been a multi-million dollar a year job.
