A classmate just hit me and told me to stop snoring...
 :embarassed:

You should have sucked out his soul.

It's so peaceful on campus, nobody really around except the few people running off to exams.

God I don't want to study. I'm thinking I might just wing it and hope my knowledge of the middle ages is good enough to score more than a 60/100.

I honestly think that 98% of high school can be skipped. I mean think about it, I will never need to know that in year 16XX [name] created the [item of little importance]. And it doesn't help that the vast majority of what I study is immediately discarded because of lack of need after the tests. RAWR

So... yeah, English class FTL.

Not high school. College.

I've found most of it can be skipped too, except those damn language classes.

I am approx halfway thru with my most recent Halo book.

I only get to read 2-20 pages a night before i doze off and then loose track of what page i was on.

The worst(or best depending on how you look at it) thing is the next night i end up rereading stuff i read the night before but only remember parts of it.

We had a light dusting of snow in Cincinnati this morning.  As you can see, everybody panicked.

I was about 30 seconds ahead of the madness on my way down to UC, I'd like to send a big FUCK YOU YOU'RE TOO SLOW to all those weather gods who were trying to make me late for my exam.

But it was insane on the way home, a quarter inch of snow and people forgot how to drive. I SAW three accidents happen in the hour it took me to get home. All fender benders, one guy tried stopping at a stop sign to fast and skidded into a parked car. One guy, when turning to get to the UC garage, just pulled in front of a guy going straight, like I said, the white death makes people forget how to drive. The last one was an older black couple who tried to get around a semi that was moving slow and scraped the corner of the cab. The truck driver had gotten out and was screaming at them as I pulled away.

Perhaps I should have stopped but eh, I've got things to do. Like sleep and play WoW.

I have never lost control of my car because of snow.
I have lost control of my car because of salt spread on a road that had no snow of ice.

Nothing happened, spun out in the middle of an empty intersection as I was making a turn.

Are you trying to invoke the wrath of my Very Pointy Object?

Not high school. College.
Yes, but I am in high school. Not college. They're like, what, the same thing? The only difference is average age of attendance and you live at one of them. And, sometimes, difficulty of studies. Sometimes.

  • Must stop drinking beer (Maybe as a New Year's resolution...)
  • I made a chocolate sponge at work today. It was tasty.
  • I got a Christmas card from someone at work who I wouldn't have expected one from.
  • I've driven in snow once. I was doing about 2mph when I took a corner and I skidded into the kerb. We don't get much practice here.
  • I'm thinking of buying a new 160Gb hard drive, a DVD write drive, and some video editting software but it's going to cost just over £100

It's that darn Christmas spirit.

As for driving in snow, I remember that one morning when we were all driving to Mississippi it had snowed. Hardcore, too, which is rare for Tennessee. Anyway, before we even got off our road we nearly died. Skidding right across ice. Fun stuff.
