I've been using a trial of some video editing software today. It's very good. But I had a high quality 330mb 720 X 576 MPEG captured from my camcorder which I converted to WMV-HD, thinking I could have a decent file to stream to my 360. The damn thing made it into a 9mb file, and was worse than the MP4 I made of another video.

I've only taken it for face value so far and haven't gone into depth, so I'm sure there are lots of settings to change.

You prolly just have to fool around with some of the settings.  You should be able to find the compression ratio or bit rate or something like that to increase the quality.

WHen the light for the projector in your programming class blows up it makes teaching the code much harder for the teacher.
And much harder to read for the students...

I took my camcorder with me while I walked the dogs. I couldn't get more than 10 seconds of one of them before she started doing a crap. Seven shots ended with her hobled over. The other one kept running off a long way and my hands are shaky with long zooms.

Sure, I'll specialize in transit. The world would be a better place if people wouldn't be so attached to their cars.

  • Must pester parents for new PC

  • Two and a half hours to get 25% through converting a 30 minute AVI into a WMV

Can't be arsed cancelling it and changing the settings. Looks like an overnight jobbie.
