Sorry, but it isn't Friday!

Vista is pretty darn nice. Especially since I got it for free from school! Cheesy

Vista is pretty darn nice...

Yeah it looks nice. 4 of my coworkers installed it on their machines. I won't upgrade at work until wee give Vista to the end users. I was going to do it at home but I will wait.

Is it Wednesday yet? That's when my new PC is coming.

Have I mentioned I'm getting a new PC? Because I am. Cheesy

I used the Vista RC1 for a while. Buggy, unreliable, yuck. I'm assuming they sorted it all out. The ONLY things that I preferred with Vista over XP were the nifty sidebar-on-desktop things (real-time currency conversion?! Sign me up!) and the fact that you could install Japanese IME's without having to use the OS disc (which my dad usually has somewhere far, far away).

Hopefully I'll eventually be paid tomorrow for all the work I've done for my dad over the last two months. We never got round to filling out a time sheet until I was in the office today. That should bring in a nice cheque. 25% tax, though! I shouldn't have to wait until the end of the year to get that back. I should at least get interest for the government borrowing my money.

I don't even know how tax works.  Huh I always thought it was something like X% on £X,XXX earnings, plus 2X% on every £1 above £X,XXX using random figures as an example.

They really should teach us how to live in school.

We tore the drywall out of our bathroom, so before we hang some new stuff, I stuck a copy of ET in the wall, so future generations will be able to enjoy a piece a history.
