Happy Easter Everyone, or, if you are of the Orthodox faiths, happy Palm Sunday.

Bah, it turns out that this is one of those years where the Orthodox Easter falls on the same day as the Western Churches. Happy Easter then, everyone.

Yeah, I guess so. I remember as a little kid Mike always having nothing to do on Western Eastern Sunday and vice versa for Greek Orthodox Sunday.

I should. I really should.

But the blood test is for a general health checkup.  I don't think there are many places that do drug testing for jobs here.

I don't like needles. I have a fear of stepping on used needles and catching diseases. And while it's not terribly painful, the feeling is made worse by the fear. My dad had some blood tests go wrong recently. They put the needle in the same place, so he ended up with a four inch black bruise around it. My last blood tests were fine but I just don't like it.

Lady across the street knocked on my door to tell me she just watched a racoon run down the sidewalk, up onto my porch and up the gutter to the roof and then scurry to my chimney and down said chimney. Good thing it doesn't go anywhere but to my basement. I hope it doesn't get stuck and die in there with summer coming.
