What, so it can just come back? I'm just going to make sure it's not in there and cap the chimney. I don't plan on hurting it at all, but if it comes out in the basement when I'm down there it's him/her or me. Tongue

Catch it and release it and then cover the chimney with chicken wire.

I'm thinking of selling my Beano annual and comic collection from when I was younger. I've got about £350 worth of annuals at £5 each, about £50 of diecast cars and hundreds of comics, probably at 5-10p each.

Almost none of the Beano colectibles on eBay sell, so I wouldn't go there. But we don't really have enough stuff to go to a toy fair, which is where we bought most of it.

I'm also think of selling my shares in BP Plc, worth about £2,100 minus commission and tax.

Getting up for work at 4 a.m.  on Wednesday is going to be fun!

I put the idea of selling the Beano collection to dad and he was surprisingly fine with it. But he still doesn't want me selling my BP shares, which I suppose is fair enough because they'll keep going up.

So I set about looking for some values. We have two near mint annuals (I'm not a comic book person, so probably nowhere near mint). One is valued at about £60 for Fair and I can't find a price on the other one. There's also one from 1954 which is valued at £50+. Pretty much all the ones from before 1975 are worth over £30. Going by this very loose price guide, my lot is worth probably worth £550 plus the diecast cars.

Now where the hell do I sell them? Ebay is awful for Beano annuals by the looks of it.

Lady across the street knocked on my door to tell me she just watched a racoon run down the sidewalk, up onto my porch and up the gutter to the roof and then scurry to my chimney and down said chimney. Good thing it doesn't go anywhere but to my basement. I hope it doesn't get stuck and die in there with summer coming.

that would be hilarious if it does. (im anti-peta)

today is boring.  I have to watch my sister.  with my 2 brothers up north, I have nothing to do, because she actually listens.  I started hacking the original mario game, just changin some texts and tiles and the such.  im going to eventually move up to MAME to do my dream project:  muppet kombat! why not do the SNES version or the genesis version, you may ask?  2 main reasons:  1)  the arcade version is way more violent, making it obviously way more fun.  doing fatalities on big-bird is just... you get the picture.  2nd) When I build a MAME cabinet (I plan to sometime within the next few years) I can put that game on it.

I have it all planned out:
Characters:
Johnny cage= count von count
liu kang=grover
subzero=bert
scorpion=ernie
raiden=the hamburglar
sonya blade=cookie monster
kano=elmo
reptile=oscar the grouch (I was thinking about kermit, but hes not cool)
goro= snuffleupagus
shang tsung=Big bird

Im changing the arena's to look like mr. hoopers liquor store and that kind of stuff.

I would also like to make it where you can play as oscar, snuffs, and big bird (reptile, goro, and shang) but I dont know.  maybe.  I know the hamburglar isnt a muppet, but he's cool enough to be in there.

it will be cool because they will have the original characters moves, so bert will be shooting out ice balls.

I remember when I was young. I had lots of projects in mind, enthusiastic to do something special. I would come up with designs for things in my head, making them more and more complex until they blew up in a nuclear explosion with little people frying to death. I made all the sound effects to go with it. Then I moved onto the next project, or got my parents to buy me something very similar.

Ebay sucks bad for selling comics.

I agree. Buy it nows completely mess up any sort of price standard or condition that  collectors or experts are trying to accomplish. Good for buyers in allot of cases, usually bad for sellers in almost all. Even worse than games or cards IMO.

We won our hockey game 9-1 last night. Yet another great chance at a shutout, but 1 lapse in judgement ended that.

just in case you were scoring at home, we have won our last 2 games by a score of 9-1  Cheesy
