The power steering on one of our cars has been heavy for a while. I checked the reservoir and there was hardly any power steering fluid in it. So off I went to Halfords, a car parts shop, where they had a big shelf full of various bottles of fluids. I checked their chart for the fluid I needed for my car, then looked at the shelf. There was a gap where my stuff should have been.

I went to look for a scanner today, simply for uploading game scans. The cheapest I could find was £30 for a standalone flatbed scanner or a special offer of £30 for a Lexmark printer/scanner. I might go for the Lexmark tomorrow. The same one online is about £40 at the cheapest. It's cheap but as long as it scans to a decent quality I'm not too bothered about the printing quality.
When I came back home from doing my stuff I found out mum and dad had been shopping for my mum's birthday present, a 10.1 mega pixel camera which they wanted me to test for her... Her birthday is in June. It takes good quality pictures until I zoom in to full size on the pc. It's good for the price, though. I saw a 1GB SD card in the bag and thought "Oh crap, they've been ripped off". SD cards in shops are usually £35-40 for 512mb or £50-60 for 1GB. But it was actually £20, which isn't too bad. It's still cheaper online, though. They said there were some fairly cheap scanners in that shop but not as cheap as the Lexmark printer/scanner.
