I think it's because the dots weren't lining up with the scanner bar. The scanner is actually fine.

Anyway, I've managed 84 decent Mega Drive scans, so I'm feeling quite proud of myself.

Bah.

About a month into my NVQ Course it turns out we actually don't have any funding for it and of the 12 that started, there are only two of us still doing it. Looks like it won't be going ahead.

My sister was home for Easter but when she went back to university she forgot to take some forms. Of course, she only just realised last night that they're due in this Friday. There's not enough time to mail them to her, so mum thought it was convenient that I bought a scanner yesterday because now I can kindly scan all 100 pages and email them to my sister.

Someone at mum's work got beaten up by her flatmate, so she's off work for a while.

Someone from work (community centre) emailed me this morning saying he was going to do something which "might lose someone their job". I'm worried it's going to be the head chef because I like her and there seems to be a bit of a rift between these two people.

Apart from that, everything's fine.




Edit: Oh, FFS. After scanning 30 pages I decided to actually look at the forms to see what it said about photocopied/printed applications. At the top of the first page it clearly said "You can also apply online at..."

So I went on the website and the form was there in a perfect quality .pdf file.


Haha, pdf-file. Sounds dirty.

Pretty damn tired. About an hour before my work day is done, then another hour until I pick up the kiddo from school. I cant wait to get home so I can melt into my couch.

I've got 137 scanned images of games since yesterday. I haven't uploaded all of them because I only realised some of them were already there after I had scanned them. After my last submitted images are approved I'll have uploaded 190 things since the new database was put up, mostly in the last week.

As for scanning already scaned games if yours are higher quality or the other ones are still in the old resolution then you can up0load them still
